  • I don't think there is anything wrong with seltzer water...I like to get the 1L bottles and try to drink it before it starts to get flat, which helps me to definitely drink more of it. However, I'm not sure it should replace flat water as your main source of hydration. Sometimes it can make me feel bloated and gassy, but…
  • I would definitely stay away from artificial sweeteners like splenda, but that's just personal preference. I try to eat very clean and splenda is the complete opposite of that. With so many health risks, it's not worth it for me to put in my body. I would rather bite the bullet and have a small amount of sugar. Honey is…
  • I'm 5'7 and weigh between 133 - 135. I'm looking to just get down to 128-130 (trying to drop a little more body fat) but then I want to put on muscle so I won't be surprised if my weight increases then. :) It's nice seeing all these people who are relatively the same height and seeing what our goals are!
  • One thing I like to do to still get protein from eggs is put it in oatmeal. While the oatmeal is cooking on the stove, I add in some egg whites (that I have already whisked with a fork) to the oatmeal and mix vigorously for about a minute. This helps make the oatmeal a little more fluffy, while giving you protein that you…
  • This is an awesome post! Congrats to everyone!! I like my arms because I can finally see muscle definition when I flex. I also like my shoulders and collarbones, and I'm not too mad at my legs right now either. :)
  • I usually try to make my own but the Mrs. Dash brand has a lot of salt-free spices. The one I have is like a chipotle seasoning and if you add some cumin + garlic powder I think it makes a pretty good taco seasoning.
  • I LOVE this product. I recently saw commercials for it so I picked up the lemon flavor and I can't get enough! It makes it so much easier for me to drink water. I'm definitely curious about these other flavors too.
  • I love to bake, and I also crave sweets a TON, so it's very hard for me to keep my sweet tooth in check. One thing I like to do is bake something that is one single serving. Chocolate Covered Katie is a food blog and she has TONS of healthier dessert recipes. One recipe is Single-Serving Peanut Butter Cookies:…
  • I had a roommate who was a raw foodist and she just mixed the chia seeds with water and ate the gel out of a bowl. Erm...you could do that. Haha. I like to put them in baked goods like muffins and cookies. I've made chocolate chia pudding before and that's awesome if you don't mind the texture (kind of reminds me of…
  • I probably spend a little more than $200 a month for two people, but I KNOW I need to bring that down. I tend to make a lot of grocery store trips, but this doesn't bother me because I really love the grocery store, haha. Anyway, I do try to watch what I spend, and these are some of the things I do: -go to a few different…
