  • I went gluten free after a diagnosis of hypothyroid & Hashimotos. It helped, but I didn't lose the basketball stomach until I went dairy free too. My nutritionist said that gluten free and dairy free seem to go together. I know i had some ice cream yesterday and my stomach is bloated today. I can't do dairy.
  • I take Armour thyroid and found that once I got on it and my levels were normal, I was able to start losing weight. Now, I didn't lose a ton of weight immediately, but at least the scale was finally moving in the right direction. I take 60 mg a day.
  • Very nice transformation. I avoid sodium also. It makes such a huge difference. I also found that going dairy free got rid of a lot of excess fluid I was carrying around. I hope the next 12 months sees you meeting your goal. Good luck.
  • I cut up mushrooms and add in spinach and cook that first - then add in an egg and some egg beaters. I cook until the eggs are done. Very good. I'm dairy free so no cheese for me. :tongue:
