I forgot where I read this, but I saw something that said there is really no difference, however, people naturally stop drinking carbonated water faster because you can't chug it like plain water. I think as long as you're getting a sufficient water intake, you should be fine! :)

I have a Fitbit Flex and while I love it, I really only use the pedometer aspect. I do really like the dashboard of information that is provided, as well as the syncing to MyFitnessPal and vice versa. However, if you are looking for something on the cheaper end, a pedometer will do the same thing with less perks. If you're…

As an update, I bought raw honey, tea and vitamins last night. I'm still on the hunt for coconut oil. My grocery store didn't have it, but maybe Trader Joe's will. I am going to look into all of the advice! I appreciate everyone's tips - thank you :)
-
Ahh! So many awesome tips. Thank you everyone! Haha. Priceless. I'll be single and ready to mingle, so that's out. :)

I forgot where I read about this (likely here or the r/loseit subreddit), but there is a website called getdrunknotfat.com - it rates beverages by alcohol content and calories. I think they have an app, too! Might make you feel better when you order your drinks. By the way, happy birthday! :drinker:

Hi ladies! I love this thread because it helps me to see that my goals are reasonable. I'm currently 135/138ish. My highest weight was 150. While I might have seemed healthy to some, I am and was very skinny fat (minus the skinny!) I'm working on toning up my body by reducing my body fat percentage (currently about 25-30%)…

Feel free to add me! - Medium build - Currently weigh around 138 (I think), pant size 6 - My primary goal is to get down to my driver's license weight (from when I was 16!), which was 124 lbs; however, when I was working out regularly, I was down to 118 lbs - 24 years 9 months

This looks like baloney, but I guarantee that they make a ton of money.

Height: 5'3.5" SW: 145/6 lbs CW: 136/7 lbs GW: 120-124 lbs I carry my weight well. Even at 145/146, no one would have considered me fat. However, I am currently pursuing a lifestyle diet change and as a result have lost weight and felt much better. I feel less bloated and "heavy" than I was previously. I feel really good…

Love this! I'm a couple of days late from the original post, but I'm joining in and will update on my blog, too. 1) Wake up every weekday at 6 am 2) Spend the first 10 min of every morning meditating, praying and reflecting 3) Do some sort of exercise everyday (except Sundays - save that for church!) > Cardio (treadmill,…

I'm a little late, but thank you for responding to my question! I am going to add you now.

Awesome progress! Can you share what kinds of exercise you have been doing?

Hi Twenty Somethings! I'm a 5'4" female who weighed in at 137.6 today (my lowest since I started MFP - aww yeah!). I want to get down to 120/125, depending how I feel when I get there. I'm really bad about working out, so I've been focusing on my diet, but need to get motivated to burn. Please add me! I update daily and…

24 years old, 5'4" CW: 138/139 GW: 120-125 Please feel free to add me! I log every week day and love to motivate others (but also need a lot of motivation ).

The more you start going to the gym, the less uncomfortable you'll feel! Keep on keeping on and in a few weeks, you'll be so used to seeing the same people that you'll forget about your insecurities. It may take some time, but you can do it! Sending a friend request, too :)

My thighs and bum are large in comparison to a small waist and chest, however I happen to like them! I need to work on toning and strengthening them because jiggle isn't my friend. One area I hold fat is my armpit/upper tricep area. I'm convinced it's hereditary because every woman on my mom's side hates this part of their…
