just Googled IIFYM calculator, as I did not know what it was. The page i found is pretty close to what the MFP suggested just over 1700 calories. God that's going to be hard to follow

1677 calories a day, which seems very low for me as I love food. If I remember well on day i exercise i will need to subtract the calories i have burned during workout, correct?

Not answering your question OP, but that's one machine i love to hate. Really makes my heart beat go up and feel sick at the same time. If i was getting a home-gym, it probably would be one of the first piece of equipment i would buy

Just signed to https://www.fitnessblender.com, it's free, tons of stuff on the site

This, I would definitely ask for medical advice (last thing you want is to make it worse). I have an incisional hernia just below my sternum, but i know my limit and can use a special belt while working out, so while i am limited with heavy weight, i still can work out, but your problem seems a lot more serious J

Whatever you are doing, it is working.

Absolutely unbelievable, you should be an advert for fitness, simply amazing!!!
-
What sort of gym/exercise routine do you do? This is quite an amazing result for that period of time. Keep up the good work JC

Motorsheen, yes that spare tire that goes around my waist. One issue is that i love food (I guess i am not the only one), and tend to eat really fast until i feel full. That's something i really need to change and I know it. Training has been going well, minus picked up an injury on my right wrist, but it's not stopping me…

Thanks, quite a bit to read there.

This +1, I burn a ton of calories when I got MTBing (for example yesterday 1403 calories in 133mins), and on the top of that if you go out with some mates you will have a laugh) JC
-
This!! Good luck with the op J

My gym luckily has some 1.25kg plates and I have been using them. JC
-
Thanks guys, some really good tips you are giving me. I will start introducing them to my routine. JC

On BP day => Dumbell flies, abs, triceps work, etc On OHP day => anti gravity press, standing up deltoid flies, Standing Dumbbell Upright Row, biceps, pull-ups

Well I hope that one day they can regenerate kidneys, because my son needs one. 18 and on dialysis 3 times a week, that's not fun for him and us. JC

Used to road ride, training for triathlon. 2 years ago I was introduced to MTB and that was a revelation. I hardly use my road bike now (for some reason i am getting nervous with the car drivers), but go MTBing regularly. Sometimes on my own and sometimes with a group. It is such a laugh and physically can be quite hard.…

I don't want to diss Lille but... What about Paris, it's only about 3.5hr from Lille, even less if you use the train i think. Brussels is beautiful too JC
-
But they are so good for you! I used to struggle a lot but since I started stronglift, I tend to find them much easier. My shoulders feels much stronger and I don't suffer anymore the pain I used to get when doing pullups. I am not expert but keep at it and eventually they won't bother you that much JC

If the weather is nice, why don't you go out walk/jog/run/cycle. You will be surprised on how much you can enjoy outdoors activities. Or find yourself a training buddy and go to the park and do some workout with a bit of competition in it JC
-
Do you have a Decathlon shop near you? Mine offers free gait analysis, they sometimes have good prices on Asics, or as mentioned before, try a shoe that fits and you like and go online. JC
-
I don't think you will negate at all. I do Insanity but not everyday, I do Stronglift 3 times a week, run on the treadmill and mountain bike too now that the weather is decent again. They all complement each other really JC

300ml of skimmed milk or almond milk, 5gr of brown linseed, 2 TBS of fat free yoghurt, 1 small banana, ice cubes, 1 spoon of whey protein (sometimes 1tea spoon of Meridian organic peanut butter) JC

I am in the same boat, pretty happy with the rest of my body but the LH refuse to go away. As everybody says, I am going to keep up at it. I don't know if age has something to do too, I am 51 so maybe it's a bit too late for me JC

Very good idea if you workplace allows them Somebody in my office tried one of them a few year back, she had back problem and was advised to sit on one of them, only to be told off by my manager because of health and safety issues (crazy world we are living in). Health and safety!! So it's ok to look at a screen for 8hours…

I am sure a few people will suggest Stronglift 5x5, I have started on it about 3 weeks ago so can't really comment on success just yet. JC
-
You must be pretty happy with the results, that's quite a transformation. Well done JC

As today 4458 calories burned. There is still tomorrow, another round of Insanity (so I guess another ~410 calories) JC

Some rope work... (meant skipping rope) JC
