Hello everyone, I wanted to come on here and introduce myself. I joined MFP and actually started logging every day about 3 weeks ago. MFP had me set at 1650 for 1 lb/week, but I was really eating more around 1500 and not eating excercise calories back. I have been losing about 1 lb/week, but really got interested in EMTWL…

Thank you so much! Your answers really helped. It's what I thought I should do, but really wanted some "expert advice" to feel more comfortable. Yesterday I did something to my neck and ended up on the couch all day, stuck with whatever my poor 8 year old daughter could make me. I ended up with some not-so-healthy choices…

Mmmm, the pina colada one sounds good. Thanks for the ideas!

I think I'm finally understanding this but it still sort of makes me nervous... According to both the "roadmap" links and the scooby site my BMR is 1760 and my TDEE is 2420. A 20% cut of that would be 1936. That is at lightly active. MFP has me set up at 1650 calories to lose 1 pound/week or 1200 for 2 pounds a week (set…

My experience has been exactly the same. My drive comes and goes, but I do know it improves a lot the healthier I am. It sucks.

It can be really hard to feel like you just have to jump into something completely and change everything you do in one day. It's just overwhelming and setting yourself up for failure. Take baby steps, pick something you want to change and work on that, then add more when you want to. As you start to see success that…

My meals tend to break down evenly but I don't really do it on purpose, I just eat what I feel like having and it seems to work out. I don't think there's anything wrong with dividing them how you are hungry, as long as you are starving or depriving yourself of what you need the rest of the day, you know?

I personally only count plain water for my "official" water counter, but I also have a hard time drinking enough. If it were me and I were drinking watered-down items, I wouldn't count the water in that officially, but know that it is going in my body and helping to hydrating me.

Definitely a great feeling, and great for motivation! Sometimes we need to feel that good feeling to realize how bad we were really feeling before.

I'm in that week right now too, and I weighed but I weigh every day. I actually have a 2 lb loss today! I don't get too crazy on the number though, I use it to learn about my normal daily fluctuations. I also only enter it as an "official" weigh in when I hit a new low, even if it takes a while to get to it, ha ha.

I had a sandwich with whole grain bread, toasted, lite mayo, turkey breast, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. 203 calories. Not too exciting but yuumy.

I'm starting with Zumba on the Wii. It has a lot of different options for difficulty and time length, and it's fun so I'm more likely to actually do it, ha ha. Walking is also good, as you can control your speed and distance and see how you gain stamina.

Every body works and reacts differently so nobody can really say for sure. If you lose the weight slowly and in a healthy way, you are more likely to see the results you want. It helps to stay really hydrated, as well. Just keep doing the work you are doing and I'm sure you'll see results. Also find some other motivators…

Awesome! I shop both plus size and regular women's but I always order my stuff online because I can't handle shopping in stores, because I'm most likely to not find things that fit. You experience is an inspiration for me, and I really hope to be in your place soon.

It may just be that I have never been that small, ever, but I don't see where you really expect the weight to come from. I say focus on health more then the number on the scale, and your body will adjust as it needs to. Focus on eating healthy sustaining foods and working your whole body to get stronger.

Down 1 pound since the start. The scale hasn't budge the last few days though, but hoping for good results next week. Good job to everyone else! SW 215 CW 214 (as of today, 7/6) GW 210 UTG: 180 July 1- 215 July 8 - 214 (-1) July 15 July 22 July 29 Final Weigh In

I am personally aiming to look at my weekly average, not just every day's totals. I'm pretty new to this but it seems to be working so far. I just make sure I'm not severely under-eating on any particular day. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will pipe in too.

Im at the start of this so my motivation is really high, and that helps. I have been able to have small amounts of something I want- I know better than to try to completely cut out something that I really enjoy because then there is no way I will be willing to do that forever. On the 4th of July, my husband stopped and…

Hello everyone, I am also a binge eater on occassion. I find if I get really stressed out I will eat a trigger food to help me feel better. My husband is in the military and was deployed while I worked full time and had a daughter at home. Some days when I would get home after a tough day of working with little kids, I…

I have had that problem before as well. Right now, I'm two weeks in and going strong. For some reason I just feel ready this time, and there were other times where the motivation wasn't there and I was forcing myself through every moment. That never ended up well. One thing I did this time, when I first joined MFP, was to…

I'd like to join this challenge! I just started here and this would be my first challenge. I would love the support! SW 215 CW 214 (as of today, 7/6) GW 210 UTG: 180 July 1- 215 July 8 July 15 July 22 July 29 Final Weigh In

For me, mygoal is to get to a weight where I feel more comfortable in my body. The last time I was there was around 180, so that's my goal for now. When I get there I will reevaluate where I want to be.
-
Awesoms! I hope to be in your place at some point. Good job!

My cup size has been the same no matter what size I am, so I understand your pain. I also suggest finding some things to do to help strengthen your supporting muscles. It may only go so far, but hopefully will help get you some relief. And start saving your pennies, ha ha.

Hi! Its super hot here in Texas too. It sucks for me, I just moved here from.Colorado and miss it.
