Excuse: I am soooooooooooooo STRESSED! Busted: Oh, yeah, those 4 chocolate chip cookies really helped! Now I'm stressed about the original problem PLUS I feel sick from all the sugar! Truth: Eating poorly doesn't help my health - mental or physical!!!

I step on the scale 3 times a week (or more :) ). To each his own. I only record my weight once a week - on Friday morning.

Yes, it is possible! I've lost 10 pounds in 40 days. I'm only scheduled to lose one pound a week so I'm happy with my progress. The most important thing is, I feel so much better. I'm sleeping better and have a lot more energy. I'm pretty good at logging in all my food and I exercise 30 to 60 minutes a day. Main thing is…

I have a Gazelle and love it! I did the intermediate -30 minute- today and with warm up and cool down, burned 300 calories. That's according to the data center on my machine. I've actually cut a Skinny Cow sandwich in half! One half Skinny Cow = 70 calories of yum!!!!

If you're talking about the hand held thing that buffs or rubs off the hair (supposedly, "Famous in Europe"), it works, sort of, doesn't leave your legs as smooth as shaving. Legs look OK, but don't really feel smooth. Wouldn't recommend.

Yes, Mondays are tough for me too. I've been with MFP since October. I've had three losses, one gain and one same. I weighed less last Saturday! I had broke 180. Now the scale reads 180.4. Bummer. In the long run, I know it doesn't matter too much, but I'm switching to Friday morning weigh ins!

I've learned there are a lot of people with weight problems and there is a lot of support out there if you just ask! I've learned I feel better when I treat my body right and that's true even if the scale doesn't say what I want it to!

I started MFP and had a loss the first three weeks. Thought I did OK the 4th week, but had a gain. I was sad but kept at it and had a 2# loss last week. I worked out last night for the first time - usually do it first thing in the morning. Slept better that I have in months so I'll try it again. Everyone is different, set your own rules.

Been there, done that but my choice of miserable eating is sweets, esp. chocolate. This site has helped me make a lot more good choices and now I have a lot more good days than bad ones. Welcome to MFP, I really think it will help you! If you need more friends accept my request..

My official weigh in is Monday morning - first thing. I do a pre-weigh in first thing Saturday morning. If that looks good, I can relax a little on the weekend, but only a little! If it doesn't look good, I can work harder! This plan works well for me.
