Unless you ate nearly nothing for the 10 days, it's impossible. And you wouldn't have the energy to workout, let alone do much of anything else! lol

Don't rely on the scale to show progress. Everyone doesn't ask you how much you weigh, they actually SEE what you LOOK like. Remember that. When your clothes fit different, then you'll know your progressing!

Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie is my little devil!!!!!

Soooo there with you! My bf will eat it, seriously, every night. Big bowl. Not gain ONE pound. ME? I LOOK at it and my butt and thighs just laugh and laugh... lol

Do not go by your scale. Take measurements or notice the way your clothes are fitting.

Hey Allyson! I'm Christine. I'm 5'10" and 167 lbs. I have the same goal as you do! We can do this girl! ;)

Thanks for all of your input. Great advice. Yesterday I absolutely could NOT stand the itching anymore, as I was almost in tears. I went to the urgent care center and the doctor there did a strep test on my throat, which came back negative, to rule out scarlet fever. I'm glad he did that. He said it's definitely an…

Thank you all for your responses! Very good and much appreciated info! The day before yesterday, after going 2 days without eating gluten and not being NEARLY as itch as I was, I accidentally ate chicken that had a glaze on it that contained contained wheat, caramel color, and food starch. I never even thought to look at…

I'm a tall girl, (5'10") so my weight of 170 isn't shocking, really. But I would like to lose about 15-20 lbs and tone. As a mom of three, it can be hard to find the energy and patience to lose. But I'll get there. We all will! Feel free to add me, as well. I'm starting small with a goal of losing 10 lbs OR fitting in a…

Hi Tish! I've been able to lose weight in the past by watching my intake of food and exercising on a regular basis. I'm finding it harder as I get older, though... (I'm 39). But this time, I'm not limiting myself to WHAT I eat, it's how MUCH I eat of the things that I don't want to be deprived from. I find that I actually…

This is a great group for me, as well! I go on a "logging in streak" and then I drift away again. Then I don't work out either because I get a little lazy. I only want to lose about 10-15 lbs, but I really want to tone and just eat a little healthier. I REALLY want to stay away from processed (mostly canned)…

It depends on how late I ate the night before. If I stopped eating early in the night, I'm starving by morning and eat a big breakfast. But I've always been a big breakfast eater. I think it really just depends on the day.

Don't completely avoid fat. Just trans fat.

Quit smoking and started eating healthier. I replaced my cigarettes with bottles of water.

This is really great advice that you posted. I even got something out of your post that i wasn't even trying to. Thanks!

Totally agree! That's great advise!

Hi! My name is Christine. I too, am doing this again, only 10 lbs heavier, but I plan on sticking with it this time. Don't give up hope or your strength! You'll do great! It's time to reinvent yourself. That's how I feel. A few years ago, I was about 25 lbs lighter and much happier, healthier, and fit into all kinds of…

Hi Amanda! My name is Christine and I live in Pennsylvania. I just quit smoking 4 days ago and I'm trying to stay healthy, get back in shape, and lose about 15-20 lbs. It IS crazy to see how much we actually eat every day without even thinking about it! You can add me as your friend. I'm all about motivation! :)

Nope, you're not crazy. I'm doing the same thing. I'm getting rid of one cigarette out of my daily routine per week. I'm now down to 4 cigarettes, and starting tomorrow, I'll be down to 3 cigarettes a day for the week. I feel that in order to get rid of the bad habit, you have to replace it with a good habit. Out with the…
