I also don't understand the reasoning to this blended banana crap. If you blend a banana (100 calories lets say), add milk (25 for a splash), add tbsp peanut butter (100), you are still consuming more calories than a serving of ice cream (225). Even if you use PB2, you are consuming more calories (170) than Edy's Slow…

And maple bacon. Anyway I can get it.

I must try this. C'mon grill season. So close!
-
I like my eggs cooked. With a side of bacon.

Willpower and addiction are two very different things. I'm not saying it's easy to have willpower, but a lack of willpower doesn't mean you are addicted. If that was the case then we would be able to tell heroin addicts to just have some willpower.

I should try that! I love mango anything. And salted caramel. Mmmmm. Salted caramel.

70% protein? Really? Fat intake looks low. I would die on this diet. I'm currently at 30-40-30 and that's a challenge protein wise. And I eat meat at every meal!

I used to drink wine almost every night but since I started working out in the AM on a regular basis, I stopped. I just can't drink at night and wake up at 6 and be ready to lift heavy things. Also, my hangovers got so bad after turning 30. How do you do it? I pretty much only drink on Fri/Sat now. But, seriously, one day…

1. Peanut butter is sunshine and rainbows and all things glorious and happy. 2. No self - respecting peanut butter fan will be satisfied with PB2. Blech. 3. Weigh it. 4. I eat apples and peanut butter a lot. But, really, I eat the apple and then the peanut with a spoon. No shame.

She's not answering my questions either. So, she's a troll or she has a serious problem she won't cop to.

You need to stop giving advice about things you know nothing about. Granted, I'm all for lifting weights but telling someone with a clear ED that they can still be "fat" and "flabby" at 103 pounds (laughable, BTW at 5'4) is being purposefully obtuse.
-
It's obviously not appropriate. Her BMR alone is 1314.
-
Are you avoiding the ED question on purpose? I'm not judging you. Trust me, I have been there. But, I do hope that you are working with someone to get better.
-
Yep. Cereal! Gah! I actually don't even eat it that much anymore because I can have eggs and bacon for the amount of cereal that would fill me up.
-
I just don't like that much "stuff" in my ice cream. It's too chunky to me.
-
I'm weird. I don't like Ben & Jerry's (unless it's mint oreo cookie), but I do like Edy's Slow Churned a lot. Salted caramel, oreo cookie and mint chip. Those are my go-to's usually. Sometimes I'll get Talenti if I'm feeling frisky.

You rang?
-
Really? I'm surprised by this. Why would you not want to take steps to retain muscle mass while losing weight? I feel like this is in the same vein as "don't lift weights until you've lost weight," advice.
-
Did you ever get help for that ED?
-
I'm pretty sure I would pass out if that was all I ate. This is really just a VLCD/crash diet in disguise. Why don't you just follow the MFP program? Find an appropriate amount of calories to eat a day and then eat them - no gimmicks and it works!

I hear ya! I used to come home and crush a bottle. I didn't own a business at that time, but I was in PR and agency life is crazy. Now, I'm actually involved in two startups. Honestly, I just re-directed that stress into my workouts. I still have my nights every so often but, for the most part, I blow off my steam at the…

LOL, wut?

LOL. I forgot about the tv commercial thread. That was a classic.

I'd be all like...hangry and stuff. I guess they have to allow vodka because otherwise people will be stabby. Yikes! I also have to laugh that vodka is ok and wine isn't. LOL.

Well, technically an egg hasn't grown from the land. I don't think they swim or run, either. What about milk? Is cheese not allowed? Technically that's processed. So is butter. And olive oil, because it's pressed. For that matter, you can count out wine. And beer. And, like, a million other things that are perfectly fine…

yeah, I don't know how I missed that gem.

This. Plus, I lift heavy things and squat a lot and consider myself to have pretty muscular legs. And I have thigh gap (when laying down with my knees up). It's all in the hips because, trust me, I'm not a waif on the bottom. Speaking of hip and butt size....I wonder how this impacts my IQ.
-
Ok, but her BMR is 1314. That's just to keep her body functioning. Why is she trying to stick to a 1200 calorie diet? No way MFP is making that recommendation. That's my point.

Wow, do you have a flag stalker? SMH. This was good advice. OP, big picture. A diet soda is not going to derail your efforts. I'm not a big soda drinker (never have been) but there are some days at work where I just NEED one. And if I'm hungover? I go for the real stuff. Diet soda has never made an impact on my weight or…
