I looked at your diary and protein numbers look good. You body need o.5 to 1 gram per pound of body weight. Eating that requirement of protein will help you lose fat rather than muscle. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Exactly You also want to double check numbers on things as some items are not accurate. Pretty safe to say 3 oz of chicken do not have 60 grams of protein or least not the chicken eat. My 3 oz has 16 grams just so you can see the difference in the numbers.

Bumping so I can see the pictures once I get home. I started at the same spot and while I am not to 190 just yet (15 more) I totally relate. It was not until I saw pictures this past May of me at my daughter's graduation that my mind began to get a vision of the new me. I can wait to see the pictures. Great job I am sure.

I am close to 18 months and there are still days I fight that battle. It does seem to be getting longer and longer btw the days but I am not sure they will ever completely stop for me as I have been battling for 43 years and only began to really understand things in the last 5 years.

There is nothing wrong with carbs for some but for me it makes me crave food. I keep mine at 110 or below daily (with a few exception now and again) and proteins 100+. The protein keeps me feeling full. You may find the following article helpful also…

I do not restrict anything. Learning to maneuver though life is the only way to succeed long term. I just watch portions and how often I enjoy somethings.

With your protein levels so low its understandable. MFP has them set really low, for that reason that should be hitting or exceeding those grams per day. And they have carbs set really high, they will make you crave food. So btw the two thats enough to explain everything

Your carbs are high and your proteins are low. MFP preset them out of balance, you need to adjust them. Cut out processed foods and eat clean. Water to drink and lots of it.
