I'm in an active lunge and squats during my treatment sessions, and my heart rate can go up to about 125 for a substantial time while working on each person. I'm also often engaged in sustained pushes while helping clients do passive stretching, where I bear the weight of their limb and take it through its range of motion,…

I'm an LMT with a heart rate monitor. My heart rate goes up to about 125 during a massage, and I bust a sweat every time. Extra deodorant is always necessary, lol. I burn about 3000 calories a day when I'm at work.

I have been failing at this miserably, but at least I'm keeping myself accountable!!! It's a real weakness of mine.

I have so many days that It's hard to get going. There are many days where I'm forced to go go go super early in the morning, so my brain is no where near actually functioning. >.>

I've made excuses my whole life, and I think seeing my parents as unhealthy as they are, and watching them make excuses has really given my a kick in the tots to really actually do something. I don't feel like I've lost much since I've actually gotten my appetite back, but damned if I'm not going to be active!!!! lolol!!

I downloaded Endmodo for my phone, it's a distance/ running app that I've seen suggested, in this group as well as others, and I plan on trying couch to 5K once my 6-8 week recovery period is up and I'm able. I added a dumbbell circuit to my daily routine today, just a light circuit of bicep curl, tri-cep extension,…

Was FINALLY able to do the second day, my knee is still jacked. UGH, I'm afraid of pushing TOO hard and injuring all the body parts I have, LOL. Anyhoo, it was rough to do the work-out today, with the bum knee and my abdomen incredibly sore from working last night (probably over did it, but shhh, whateve's), but I got…

I appreciate your concern! I work at Starbucks, and they're usually really good working with people with restrictions. My doctor signed me off to work with restricted weight lift. I'm not allowed to lift over 15 lbs for 2 weeks. Wooo! Thank you for the heads up.

Day 2- tried moving enough to make the workout happen, and was met with incredible pain on my right side that has insisted throughout the day. Clearly my surgery area is not ready for intense workouts 2 days in a row, so I decided to force a rest day and walk instead. I think because of still healing from surgery, I'm…

I was considering endomodo, but it looked like it was for cycling and such, so I'm going to have to give it a go!

We can do that too! Hahaha

I will join you. I plan on adding an additional 10 minute workout to my daily routine, and cutting out as much processed foods and cutting out all refined carbs for this week!

So far, I've had to modify the leg raise and the plank, because I had gallbladder surgery just under 3 weeks ago, so my abdominal muscles are still pretty ripped up, but getting stronger!!! Instead of both legs for the leg raise, I did them each alternately, not quite working as deep into the lower core, but still getting…

Dear 16 year old me, I know, it seems like everything is the end of the damn world, but I promise you the sun will rise tomorrow, and you will survive. Don't change a damn thing because if you do, you might not become who I am now. And let's face it, I'm pretty awesome. Okay, I'm incredibly awesome. There I said it. You'll…

The more water you drink more alert you become, try pounding down a couple glasses of water in the morning, and eat a snack.

Buffs and Potions, that is AMAZING!!!! And an excellent idea to add to the diary so that everything's just not in the standard categories!!!
