Just discovered this myself. My exercise world has effectively crumbled, haha. Currently scouring YouTube, but am feeling pretty discouraged right now. I really can't do anything high-impact, so everything available on Netflix was pretty perfect.

Would you be able to start going shopping with her and work together to make healthier choices at the store? It seems like that would be an easier test to get through than having to try avoiding all the junk once it's in the house. :(

Usually if I find myself in a funk, I try to turn it around into motivation to do something healthy for myself. Exercise for a half hour, eat a fruit or some veggies. The problem is, I simply don't like most of the substitutes, so it becomes less likely that I will eat them, thus definitely neglecting my protein needs. Tofu is great, but I worry about eating too much soy. I am willing to do protein powders though! Any in particular that are good?

Do you do any yoga stretches? Downward dog is great for full body, and it really emphasizes hamstring/calf stretching. I also really like the triangle pose; opens my hips up like crazy!

I'm having the same thought! On days when I do a shorter video, I'm going to use the extra time to really focus on some light yoga/stretching. Burning calories is important, but so is getting flexible!

I'm 5'7'' and am comfortable aiming for 175 at the moment. I think my lowest weight in high school was 160 or so, and that was when I was active in volleyball and jogging a lot, but I don't know whether that was even a "good" weight for me.
