Not sure I am into all of the detail quite yet but pretty sure I will get there. Thanks for the tip on them being pretty big I will have to go check it out at a store before thinking of buying one
-
I am not running trails probably will not do that for a long time. So far the Nike App gives me some good numbers but I do not think it goes into details like the garmin does
-
This is my first time joining and I put myself down for 90 miles this month.
-
My son has been sick so I have not been able to get a run in. Hoping that tonight I can finally do a short run
-
I do use Almond milk for my smoothies. It is not bad
-
I can do protein powder
-
Will have to give that a try. Do you drink that before or after a run?
-
Coffee I can do, Endurox not sure what that is but will check it out. Chocolate milk does not work for me I am lactose intolerant

I need to set my macros to this but I would change the Doritos to red hot cheetos

-
Going to keep my goal of 90 miles because I am going to be short in November.
-
Not sure I am going to make my 90 mile goal before the month is over.

I started running because I enjoy it and to also help me with weight loss. Training for the half is a goal of mine it was never strictly about losing the weight but I did hope that it was something that was going to happen. Would you say that I am eating too many calories? And to many carbs? A month ago I changed my…

I am speaking from experience here, I was a runner in high school. I ran cross country and track I thought I was in great shape to train for a marathon. I signed up with a running group and started training with them it was great until I hit mile 16 as part of the training. I never really ran during the week I ran here and…

You beat me to this post, I am also in Arizona and my 11 mile run is this Saturday. I was going to ask the same question. Guess I have some shopping to do tomorrow. Let's see raincoat, body glide. Good luck on your run.

2014: 1. Run my first Half Marathon ( time is not an issue I just want to finish) 2. Run Disney Half Marathon 3. Go back and run the 5k that got me back into running and see how much I have improved. 4. Go back and run the same 10k again and finish under an hour. 5. Get more medals :)
-
Yeah I can see that, I do not have friends that run but maybe when my kids get older and if they like running I can do 5k races with them.

I was a runner in high school, I ran cross country and 400m in track. After high school I started training for the LA marathon but I got injured and stopped running for years. I picked up running again last year and have already completed a couple of 5ks, 10ks and currently training for my first Half Marathon. My longest…

WOW what a great story thanks for sharing, i really want to give up right now but reading your story has motivated me to keep going.
-
See this is why I was thinking if they are worth paying for 5ks anymore.
-
You know that is a great idea to find 5ks or 10ks that are going to be fu. I do not run to race against other people just myself so being able to see improvement will be great
-
Yes that is what i was wondering too I wanted to plan my running schedule for next year and just wanted to see what I was going to do
-
What a great idea, there is a high school not too far from my house, I will start going there and start running on the bleachers. I just wanted to make sure that my knees were ready for downhill running.
-
Ok I will make sure not too go out too fast. It is a nice course I ran the 10k last week so we merged with the Half Marathon and Marathon runners for the last six miles. So at least I know how half of the course looks like
