Also thinking about this! Really interested to hear people's thoughts.

3.4 miles on the treadmill this morning. Just catching up on what's been going on around here, @isulo_kura, hope you're knee is healing - that looked really nasty! Only ever fallen once but I tripped over a dodgy paving stone and let out a four letter expletive as I went over, just as a man and his little girl were walking…

It's the weekend and a beautiful day, here in London! 3.1 miles to add this morning from taking part in Parkrun, taking me up to a total of 6.2 out of 80 so far. My ticker won't open on my phone. :/

He's the one who should feel ashamed and worthless. That's not how you treat someone you love. Sorry, but he sounds like a pig.

Nope, too busy working out to care about a photo!

I know how you feel, hun, most of my friends are gorgeous and tiny, but I think everyone feels that way sometimes. If not the the 'fat' one, then the ugly one, the unsuccessful one - whatever it is in life that they're insecure about. There might be things about you, personal qualities you have that make your friends feel…

@caratayloruk I love a morning run. I find it really sets me up for the day and it's so good to know you've already got that under your belt while half the world is either still sleeping or just about conscious and crunching on their cornflakes!

3.1 one miles on the treadmill this morning. I'm getting over a cold, so it was a tough one but i made it B) @Daisy471 Good luck with your race at the weekend! @shanaber Beautiful shoes! If i had them it would take me longer to decide which pair to wear than to do the run ha ha @Wendy1Fl Congrats!!

After a disastrous May, I'm going for 80 miles.

Urgh, so this month has been dismal. Combination of laziness, a weekend away and too many plans to allow me enough time to commit. I have three days to run 77.4 miles :/
-
@skippygirlsmom, well done to you both, I <3 that medal - you must be super proud. @emmy15rocks, welcome! you're nearly a quarter of the way there. @remus42, well done on the PB! As always, reading all your posts has made me feel like getting off my butt and getting out there (if not a little guilty at how lazy I've been…

Thanks! Sadly, it'll take a miracle now. Just not getting enough time to run!

I went along to my local Parkrun for the first time in 3 years yesterday - had forgotten what a good event thst it. Still, way off this month's target. Just not getting the time for my usual Sunday long run :'(

Awful treadmill session this morning - my hydration levels weren't right and I just didn't feel right from the off . After giving myself the weekend off, that wasn't the start I was hoping for this week. Feeling beaten by a 5K run :'( Still, I did it. Trying to push the negative thoughts away and learn from it.

Morning gym session :)

Hit the treadmill at lunchtime and did some interval training - came back to the office looking awful but feeling great B)

I failed 80 in April but feeling optimistic - 100 for May :)

@peeanoe good work, i hope you're feeling suitably proud of yourself. Enjoy your well earned rest day.

An absolute disaster of a week. It was my birthday on Tuesday, which has meant that I've spent all week eating too much, drinking too much, hungover, dehydrated and fat. Managed a 10.5km run this morning and couldn't do anymore. I felt like there were lead weights in my stomach. Nice reminder why i try to eat healthily and…

Love 30 day yoga challenge with Adrienne. I live in a flat with hard wood floors, so i can't really do much exercise at home without the downstairs neighbours thinking i'm about to come crashing through their ceiling. :o

It's not ideal but you can do it, just don't start out too fast and be prepared to walk/jog some of it. I remember my first 10k and seeing two people at separate points struggling - one crying, one throwing up (nice) - both had started out way too fast.
-
@Nottafattie wow, what an eventful race! Might have just missed out on a medal, but at least you know you did something good in helping that kid. How I hate unleashed dogs that aren't good around people, makes me so angry!

I always go for the maximum level Shock Absorber (I think it's level 4). I agree with @kristydi, you get what you pay for. I've found the cheaper ones are a false economy and just leave you feeling too bouncy, although I am on the large side in that department! They could well be fine for someone average sized.

@SBRRepeat what a lovely thing to do. Full credit to you for doing something that will actually make a difference to those girls lives. @dawnna76 have you always hated running? Sometimes once you sign up to something and are committed, it can feel like a bit of a chore and take the enjoyment out of it. I'm sure you'll have…

:'( won't get the chance to go to the gym this lunch time - too much on at work. Feeling rubbish now and behind on the mileage. Stuck at my desk - boring, boring, boring.
-
_nikkiwolf_ well done for signing up - you will be awesome.
