I am starting again too. Today is day 1 for me as well.....I had it totally under control for a year, then just slid down under....I know I need to start logging again, and to get back to exercising. That will be where I start. Good luck to you too!

Goals for me for November: 1. Get back into logging every day and stick to my calorie limit. 2. Lose 8 pounds 3. Make soups every weekend for the work week dinners 4. Chocolate and flour strike 5. No wine So far I have been successful (except for the flour....that's a killer!)

A similar thing is happening to me. Something happened to the motivation and momentum that lasted for a year! I was so sure that I would never go back to my old habits.....Now is the hard part, trying to re-invent that momentum and motivation....I'm with you. Let's see if we can help each other. One thing I am going to try…

I had that same kind of epiphany....just woke up one morning and decided I was really ready. I also read this quote by Rumi and since then I carry it in my head every day: "Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open??"

Try the Peer Trainer Point of No Return Program....they address plateau busting and teach you some really good tools to help you not get discouraged and keep you focused.

Hi Michelle, my photo was taken in the painted desert in northern Arizona last spring. My husband and I did a road trip... Thanks for the encouragement. I have had a hard time navigating around this site, but I think I am getting the hang of it now. I need all the help and tools I can get. Last year I lost 23 pounds (it…

I am new today. Have also spent too much money on weight watchers.....I am convinced that I can do this without them, but just need moral support. I am 53 and want to get healthy above all, so the fitness part is by biggest goal. Hope all of you can help give me a boost.
