Just started 7/8 this week, they are by far the toughest so far, first time I was actually sore after a workout the next day! Given that though I felt like they are better than the previous ones. Hardest ones for me are the plank-ups because I have a hardwood floor with no mat.

Drink plenty of water and have a protein shake/bar! They both help tons in rebuilding the muscles after an intense workout. They also reduce some soreness you may experience.

Are you going to the gym for other people or for yourself? If its the latter, who cares what other people think?

Another thing, I was thinking you could try would be to use 1 heavier dumbell, but do the press with both hands. I.E put the weight ends on each hand and press up.

I can do normal planks and plank-type stuff ok, its the reverse planks that are getting me

This is what I am shooting for, I am starting 7/8 today. I was 215 when I started, and I am now at 200.0 on the dot!

Honestly I started shaving in the shower, saves time, and the moistness of the shower prevents the normal aftershave irritation. I just touch up around my goatee after I get out in the mirror. Have been doing this for years and never had a problem with aftershave burn or those weird hairs

Try not to spread your feet so far apart, that made it much tolerable. Usually if you lift a weight over your head and it hurts your lower back that mean the weight is too heavy, go down a size or two

Seems like snake oil to me, the best weight loss pill is to eat right and exercise. There is no magic pill.

My wife and I tried it for a month and it didnt work at all for us. She said that her cousin did it and it worked for her.

As said above, its a minimum, I like to keep a 20oz water bottle with me at all times, I usually end up drinking 4 or 5 of them before the day is done.

I get the same things as well, especially when donuts are brought in or the boss buys everyone chicken/sausage biscuits from fast food restaurants, or pizza or whatever. Honestly I don't care what they think. I started eating right and exercising for a reason.

I think the best answer to a question like this is whatever works best for you and allows you to maintain a good exercise regimen. I am exercising 6 days a week following JMBR currently.

OP what are you using for your daily calorie intake? I am pretty sure that I guy would nearly die eating only 1200 calories a day, so I started at 1800, that is a normally deficit of 750 for me. I skipped over the kickstart week though because I had previously been doing P90 and switched over to this.

Check the expiration dates on the cans, i have seen a few past date. I started using Body Fortress, can get it at Wal-mart for about 15 bucks for the 2lb can, the strawberry and cookies n cream taste really good with milk!

I place my hands on the opposite shoulders, look at the ceiling and crunch with the abs, also i use a stability ball for the crunches and this helps much more

I hear the Jillian Michael's 30 Day shred is pretty good. I was going to do P90X, but watched a friend do the workouts and it was a bit too much for me with my arthritis. Tried the P90 series and it is a great starter. Just got the 3-4 videos and they are quite rough!

I do P90 when I get home after work, then eat supper, works just as good or better. If needed I will eat a PB&J sammich.

I have 1 monster size cup in the morning, with just a little no calorie sweetener. This is after I have a Monster Rehab, usually Green Tea or Rojo Tea.

Do yard work and cut my grass wearing only a speedo! Unfortunately it will be wintertime when I get down to my goal. Hell I might do it anyway!

I usually have a bowl of cereal/milk, PB&J on wheat toast and fruit in a bowl (strawberry, kiwi, blueberry, banana). With a glass of juice (OJ, Apple, or Pineapple) I also swap out the cereal & PBJ with a turkey sausage, egg white and cheese flatbread (the hungry girl ones).
