Not at all! Lunges, squats, leg press, side lunges - all excrutiating at first but as I have been training more or less every day I grew stronger and now I can do walking lunges, one legged squats and of course now step ups onto a bench! Don't weigh yourself every day. Give your body a chance. If you give up now you will have to start again and again, keep at it and you will make your goal sooner. Don't weigh yourself every day (!) Good luck.

I go to the gym EVERY night at 8pm since January 2012. It's in my blood now. I haven't missed it except through illness and can't imagine not having that routine in fact I get slightly excited when the time comes round, and really stressed if I can't go. The gym staff call me MACHINE because I just don't quit.

I am no expert, I just speak from my experience - I need a knee replacement and have arthritis in it too - I deadlift 70lb x 6-8reps a couple of times a week and do circuits of weights with hardly any cardio the rest of the week (6 days). It's hard but effective. I think my weightloss speaks for itself.

About 3/4 of that applies to me already too, and the first thing I would have said was the airplane seat too! - you have done an amazing job and deserve every one of the 135 NSVs! Well done.

I did for a while for the first 8 weeks or so of using it, my back is stronger now so its not a problem. check your form and persevere, it should get better if your form is right.
