I have the same issues... I suggest abdominal and core exercises to tighten the muscles in your stomach. This will help your belly look flatter. The fat will slowly melt off as u continue to lose weight. Good luck. Sometimes just another 10 lbs more will make a huge difference

I'm a bf mom trying to lose weight as well! Looking for more support too! My first goal is to be under 160 (my prepregnancy weight. I have 11 lbs to go!) then I'm trying to get under 130. I haven't been under 130 since I got married about 8.5 years ago! Feel free to add me and share your goals! Good luck!

I dont eat gluten free versions. i almost bought frozen GF bread but it looked so nasty i decided it wasnt worth spending $6. Also GF oreos? really? also i do eat oats plain as in oatmeal.im not ultra strict unless its a high calorie food. Also calories saved from not eating mac and cheese+ at least 4000 in the past 3 weeks
-
thank you! its pretty much anything with actual milk that does me in- such as puddings yogurts but cheese is usually ok
-
I tried paleo but i barely lasted a day. its way too restrictive... i can live without milk but going dairy free is pretty much impossible for me. im not vegetarian but i am not a big meat eater at all
-

i think i may be glutose intolerant. or not but i think gluten is a trigger for me to eat impulsively. i think i am lactose intolerant but only to milk ifthat makes any sense...
-
i cant be the only one doing this??

yeah royal blue is sounding good. but ya think i should buy a black np- im scared itll make me look too pale--- have no tan at the moment my legs are ghostly white and my hands are only a couple shades darker. on that note im gonna take some vitamin d.
-
its mostly hype but theres nothing like walking the streets of manhattan!!! (also i dont live in nyc itself but close by)
-
okay my choices are: royal blue ( which btw matches 80% of my wardrobe) black- i dont currentlly own and ps i love black licorice bright pink reapplying the burgundy in the picture (it is halfway off) clear (not feeling the tranquility) OPINIONS PLEASE!!!
-
well in nice here in the nyc metro area but i only have neon pink and its not as neon-y as i would like... plus i have light skin so its not such a great color for everyday wear
-
well it appears im the only one... but maybe I should give people a heads-up. im thinking of going hot pink. but its not feeling righ at the moment. maybe ill go shopping. nothing like retail therapy to list my mood. also on an ominous note. black is sounding awefully good right now although dark gray might be a compromise
-
well are those the only colors you own?? also congrats on your AMAZING weight loss. any tips??
-
i find that the weather inspires my choice too! then again it might be influencing my mood as well. like for example todays a gorgoes day and im thinking of changing my color... any suggestion???
-
thats the thing! when im cranky i go all out with crazy colors as if to get myself in a bitter mood. but hey it could be this mood thing is just me. now that im thinking of it I also pick my drinks according to my mood... i must be very moody...
-
i definitely agree with that one!! in fact i think insurance should cover it under mental health jk but that woiuld be nice nice.
-
or just not into that sorta thing. Do you have any clothing that you wear in a certain mood. Like I wear a certain sweatshirt when im in a certain mood. I guess I like to associate objects with feelings... and psyco anaylize
-
never. hmm maybe that means you are very stable!!!
The elliptical uses more muscles so it usually does burn more... unless the treadmill readings are inaccurate
Treadmill readings are the *most* accurate of any machine in the gym. That's not to say they're super accurate either- all of them are estimates, but running has been studied since the beginning…

my old gym had an awesome cybex elliptical cross trainer situation that i LOOOVED but i have no idea how much theuy run. maybe i will check craigslist and get a cheap one- for when i dont make it to the gym
-
well ellipticals burn way more calories
That's not really true. You burn the calories based on the intensity at which you're working- the same level of effort will burn the same calories on either machine. well both of my children are so called obese--- by their doctor. They dont do it by BMI at this age - its all based on averages. for example the average weight for a 1 yr old is 21 lbs. my son was 23/24 lbs and average height so he was considered obese... i mean cmon!! anyway just try to give her healthy foods and dont…
