I'm glad this was posted. I was confused a bit, too-- I LOVE apples and grapes.

Thank you guys! Lots of those sound really good ^_^ I'm getting a lot better about the refined sugars-- I tend to take in a lot of natural sugar, like when I make a peanut butter and apple sandwich (best easy lunch EVER).

Diet sodas in general are not good for you, but I've been a huge soda drinker for forever, and when I switched to diet instead of having my usual four cans of Pepsi I lost weight. Just be aware that since it's a carbonated beverage, it can make you bloated.

This is brilliant. I hate working out, but I like being outside playing sports or biking or even just running around. I noticed the week I lost the most weight was when I was babysitting a couple of kids every day for a few hours in the afternoon-- instead of sitting on the couch watching Netflix I was playing at the park…

Soda is evil. It is my kryptonite. I am trying so hard not to have any.

LOL. Sorry for the confusion! Thank you guys for replying =) I just find it easier to fit in... maybe I'll try it both ways and see which seems to work better.

I've added lots of fruit-- apples, grapes, kiwi-- but when I need a treat of some sort, I reach for Reduced Fat Cheezits. They're kinda my guilty pleasure, and 27 of them is 130 calories. I also have cheese sticks and Kashi bars.

I have no idea how many calories it burns, but I know I lost ten pounds doing them before =)

Excellent advice. Part of what makes a relationship great is the differences you have. If you guys had the same background and family life, you would be bored out of your minds. If she's happy with you, then you just focus on being the best YOU for her. Diversity is not a bad thing-- embrace it.

You look awesome!

I can totally do that.

I won't touch anything like that. It's really not good for you-- the lost weight isn't a good enough exchange for the ruined intestines.

Just stick to it! Make sure you log everything, every day. I have a tendency to not want to log something if I know it's not good for me. *sheepish* Have a goal, and work toward it-- whether it's to lose weight, or be more healthy, or have more energy. Also, keep this in mind: http://who-is-awesome.com/

I think I might print this and stick it on my fridge ^_^

I think you're beautiful. Hang in there-- it sounds like you've been doing a wonderful job.

Since I'm not a breakfast person, I usually just have some Carnation Instant Breakfast (it's a powder thing you mix in milk, and I love it. The French Vanilla is yummy, and there's a chocolate one that tastes like a chocolate malt.) They're under 200 calories and they work for me, since I'm rarely hungry in the morning.…

My eyes just about bugged outta my head when I read the title of this ^_^ Imma have to make me some of these...

I have to get past my way of thinking. I'll have a cookie and feel awful about it, even if I'm under calorie count. Whenever I would eat something unhealthy in the past, I would always think, "We'll I screwed up today, might as well completely throw the diet out the window." I had a Mt. Dew earlier today for the first time…

Hi there! I'm Artemis. I'm twenty-one years old and engaged-- if we can get money stuff sorted out, we'll be married in August 2013. I'm currently attending college, hoping to get accepted to the nursing program at the local community college and eventually get my Masters in Nursing. This is the heaviest I've ever been,…

You GO, girl!! You look fantastic.

I wasn't aware of that, thank you!

I've been training for the Red Ribbon Ride here in Minnesota (300 miles over four days-- I'm just getting started) and their website has some great cycling tips, even if you're not training for an event like it. I would start here: http://www.redribbonride.org/site/PageServer?pagename=TrainingTips The hardest thing I have…

I also don't feel like working out during the first couple of days of my cycle-- I tend to get really painful cramps, and it hurts to sit or stand. But honestly, even if I just go for a walk, I always feel better after exercising-- it alleviates the pain for me. The first couple of minutes do hurt, though-- my advise is to…

I'm twenty-one and I just started (and I'm still too embarrassed to upload a photo-- maybe in a few weeks).
