I've also got a hundred pounds to lose! I managed to lose about twenty so far but it's like I've stalled. I needed a kick on the butt so I started a squat challenge. Always looking for motivational friends!

Maybe do a supplemental drink as well, like Ensure or Boost? Those will often give you nutrients you may be lacking in your regular diet.

Hey there! 22 year old college student here. I'm going for my LPN license. I have about 100 pounds to lose, but I'm aiming for twenty by the time the fall semester starts. I want to change my eating and exercise habits not only because I'm unhealthy, but because I think it will be much harder to encourage my patients to…

Ugh. I am SO behind. Only nine miles down.

And this is why many people-- myself included-- don't like to go to the gym. I know I don't know what I'm doing. And I'm working on that. In the meantime, I focus about half of my energy on working out, and the other half wondering if someone is watching and thinking that I look like a moron.

Thank you! I've increased how much water I drink when I work out, but I didn't think of upping carbs. The headaches happen when a work out regardless of the exercise I'm doing-- I have the same trouble when I run or do pushups. I've cut back on the caffeine- it triggers my migraines-- but I didn't think that was it. Thank…

Hurt my ankle :( Up to six miles only. Some is better than none, I guess.

I feel better knowing that other people eat this crap too :) I had a whole 12 oz. bottle of Mt Dew Throwback today-- which is bad for two reasons. A) It's full of sugar and empty calories, and B) The caffeine triggers my migraines. *sigh *

That sounds like a fantastic idea!

Up to five-- 45 more to go. I'm not sure I can do all fifty this month, but I'm certainly going to try.

I like cheese and apples (yes, together, and yes, I know it seems weird to some people, but is SO yummy.) Or I do carrots and light ranch dip. One of those rice cakes (usually the lightly salted one from Quaker) with peanut butter is also an awesome snack. I try to go with something with protein and something with fiber.

Two miles down, 48 to go!

I'm a little late starting, but count me in! Here we go!

I ride my bike a lot when it's warm out. I live in Northern Minnesota, and I have access to the Mesabi Trail (awesome bike route-- it's so pretty in the summer.) I also take the kids I babysit to the park a lot when it's warm out, and between playing tag with them , climbing on the jungle gym, and pushing the littlest one…

I'm 5'4'', and I don't get really hungry during the day, but at night when I sit down for the evening I suddenly have to eat everything in sight. I stick to a 1600 calorie intake. If I know I'm hungry and want to eat more when that downtime comes around, I either chew gum instead or I work out extra that day. If I can't do…

I'm still trying to lose the FIRST ten pounds... I keep gaining back =/

If you get bloated on a daily basis, have you tried watching your sodium? Also, if you drink soda, even diet, that can lead to bloating. I would make sure to cut those things out for the week of the competition.

Ouch. My feelings would be hurt, too. I think "dump him" is a little overzealous, though. Talk to him and tell him that what he said really hurt your feelings. Then let it go. It could be that he was trying to be encouraging and he stuck his foot in his mouth instead. You're doing awesome-- way to go!

I wish you luck! I've been heavy for about five years now and battled my weight when I was a kid, too... I guess after I met my fiance I just sort of let it go. Looking to lose weight over the next year or so.
-
I couldn't do it. I like food.

I'm cool with my fiance having female friends, but it becomes an issue when he hides things from me-- and his friends better know about me. He has the same feelings toward my male friends-- so long as they know about him, it's cool. We trust each other. Your man's female friend not knowing about you would be a big issue…

That is an AWESOME list! Thank you! Also, I've lately been hooked on cheese crackers, like the kind you get in individual packages for kids. I prefer fruit and stuff, but sometimes I need a salty fix ^_^ One package of my favorite-- Munchies Cheddar Cheese-- is 210 calories for six crackers, but there are other low cal…

I definitely see a difference! Your tummy and thighs really show it. Nice job!
-
You're under-eating. Try boosting up your caloric intake.

Sent you a friend request! I'm Artemis, I'm 21 years old, and I'm looking to lose close to 100 pounds.

Oh, my God. You are so BEAUTIFUL. Congrats!

Ever since I got my second one on my foot, I feel sexy. I love my tattoos-- worth every bit of pain. ^_^ My foot tat: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3624162010928&set=t.100003767381059&type=3&theater

Andy Biersack and James Marsters. Yummy.

I would ask to speak to a manager-- call ahead to find out when a manager will be in. Then calmly and politely explain to the manager that you didn't realize how bad the job was until you got home. At the very least, even if you don't get compensated for the bad job, the woman who did it will be informed that her work…
