I did some interesting reading, about doing HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) while in ketosis. Saying that it could, cause your body could to be catabolic. I was wondering if anyone could shed some more light on this. Try and keep this civil, thank you.

Question, Now I've heard that alot of body builders use this diet. Is that to stay lean, or can you actually build muscle? My thoughts were that you need carbohidrates to build muscle.

TMI? I don't think so this site was made for sharing and opening up. I just want to hit the post workout shake, if its high in carbs like some are i don't think you can. However some protien shakes like dymatise 100 have only 1 carb, and it tasts AMAIZING!!!

Hahaha Not really, I started at 1900 calories and as I lose more weight, I have lowered my caloric intake. I Plan on staying at 1300 caloires a day, till I reach my goal weight. I actually feel amaizing, I had my first ketognic meal last night and it tasted so good, plust i tasted those ketones again when I went to bed.…

Now I'm curious I do intermitnat fasting. " eating in a winodw of 8 hour or less then fasting for the rest of the day" does this or just fasting in general have the same science applied to the ketogenic Diet. Thank you everyone for your information you have shared as well as your resources..

My current window eating is 20:4 fasting period with a couple of 24 hour fasting periods.I would not recommend this for everyone, and especially someon starting out. I think its totall legit to lose 14 lbs in 4 weeks. You need a plan though, and you need to stick with it. Ive lost 30lbs in 2months, and i want another 15 in four weeks for my last weigh in. I have a 3 attack plan that has been working fantastic for me.

There are few energy drinks that I used to drink before I started drinking black coffee. The Go Girl drinks are tasty plus any of the diet redbullls.

I enjoy me some Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt! My favs are Pineapple, straweberry, and vanilla. 12 grams or protien, 8-9 grams of carbs and only 80 calories. Alot of greek yogurt out there have a ton of carbs, so i really like this one, and its sooo good.

So This thread has shown that are many dfferent styles of Intermenttant fasting, Anyone do larger fastings like 20 to 21 hour? I just started doing it about a week ago. Anyone have some thoughts about it, meal sizes, working out time, ect?
