no....I'm for sarcastic
thank god for that ! LOL
There is a definite need for a sarcasm font... As far as how to tell others, I would frame the conversation on how MFP has helped you make changes and how you are enjoying it etc. I have found that if people are interested in getting healthier they will ask…

My goal is set for 2 pounds per week and since I have joined MFP that has been the average that I have lost. Some weeks it's nothing and some weeks it's 3 pounds, but the 17 week average is right on with my goal.

I made this today and it made me insanely happy: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2008/03/meatball-and-spaghetti-soup-5-ww-pts.html I didn't use any pasta in it, but added extra veggies, like red and orange bell peppers and zucchini. Heavenly!

I tend to eat more of my calories later in the day than earlier. I am terrible about eating breakfast, and on the days that I do, I notice that I run out of calories at the end of the day and I go to bed hungry. I have always been a late night grazer and while I have gotten much more mindful of it, I still like to snack at…

^^ This without the bikini part. I still weigh over 200 lbs but I just feel so darn sassy with the changes that have already occurred. I am walking around like, "Look at me!" I just feel great. Also, I don't get stressed about flying anymore now that I know I am not going to be spilling over into someone's seat!

My husband had a heart attack this winter and he did a complete 180 change in his lifestyle immediately. It took me a couple months longer to get on the bandwagon (I had to eat all the bad food in the house while I fed him healthy stuff) One day I came home from work and there was the most awesome pair of walking…

I definitely do almost all my cooking for the week on the weekend. I grill a variety of proteins (chicken, shrimp, salmon, tilapia). Then I make grains, wild rice or brown rice, and quinoa. I also like to roast a whole butternut squash in the crockpot (about 10 hours on low and slice it open and scoop out the goodness) and…

Agreed! I don't even use the mayo in this recipe or the yogurt I just use the mashed avocado as dressing. I also add chopped onion, garlic powder and dill. I eat it with tortilla chips and salsa, or on a sandwich with turkey bacon! Heaven!

My self-hypnosis recordings... my brain has been re-programmed to only crave healthy foods without me even thinking about it.

Lady Gaga--Born this Way.. so positive! Fergie--Fergalicious... makes me feel darn sassy :)

I am 5'10" and my husband of 26 years is 5'4" He loves when I wear heels. I haven't been wearing heels so much per se, but I LOVE platforms. 4" ones work just fine for me! :)

^This!^ Why don't you focus on what you did right today and celebrate your awesomeness!?

If I have a deficit for the week happening, I will not think so hard about what I eat on a Friday night. Especially since I tend to crack into a bottle of Chardonnay after work and like to enjoy some snacks with my vino. I went over for the day, but am still under for the week.

I read some really great information on this topic on this board: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/weight-watchers/46927-plateau-busting-ideas.html

Lately I have been obsessed with this sandwich.. thin sliced turkey, turkey bacon, a fried egg and sliced avocado. My old school self would have said Bologna with mayo for sure.

Same goes for me! When I was a kid I weighed 130 and I am 5'10" but as an adult, the lowest I have been able to acheive is around 175. This time around I am shooting for 185 for my first goal and will see how I feel from there. I will probably be around a size 12 and that would be the smallest I have been in over 20 years.…

There seems to be a lot of different theories and practices here, but ultimately we have to do what we feel is best for ourselves. I personally only weigh myself when I feel like I am having a "skinny" day. You know the feeling, the clothes are a little droopier, your wedding ring is loose, your ankles look small. I…

Mmmm.. laughing cow with Trader Joes Savory mini rice crackers! (goes great with a glass of chardonnay) I also like to spread it on my turkey burgers.

I am 5'10" and started at 286. Want to lose 100 pounds as my first goal. 14 years ago I got down to 180 and felt amazing. I am definitely open to getting to 170-160 range though. One step at at time for this girl! :)

First of all.. WOW.. congrats on taking off the 160 pounds! Amazing! I had the same issue when I joined, I had already lost 20 pounds but put my current weight into the tracker. What you need to do is go to the check in button and at the bottom of the list of measurements, there is an edit previous entries button. You can…

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary on Oahu and we were on the beach by Chinaman's Hat. . I saw this picture and realized I was so huge I blocked out the whole fricking island. It was one of those moments where the picture doesn't lie and it totally sucked. I still wasn't motivated enough to do something…

Woo hooo! Great Job! I had a similar experience at the mall the other day, I was combing the clearance racks and they only had a size 24 and a size 18 left in the pants I liked. Well, I used to be a 24 and the last pants I got a few weeks ago were size 20. I grabbed the 18's just to see how they would fit and they zipped…

Dannon Oikos Key Lime yogurt is an occasional treat for me! I bet if you ate it with a graham cracker it would be like key lime pie! :)

I buy fat free Ceasar garlic croutons and crush them up and add them to the turkey. Then I add some egg white to make it all stick together. I also like to smear a wedge of Laughing Cow Lite Swiss cheese (or Garlic and Herb) on top for only 35 more calories. If you like southwest seasoning, go to Penzeys.com and look up…

Sounds yummy! I think I will try toasting the bread in the toaster first...

I like to work out right after I get home from work around 5:30pm. After sitting at a desk all day it feels good to move. I don't have kids waiting on dinner etc, and my hubby usually works out at this time too. It actually curbs my appetite and I don't feel like eating as much afterwards.
