Curious why you are eating McDonalds? Easy? Quick? Emotional? Habit? Why are you having so many bad days? Emotional eating? These questions are just as important as anything to address. You have to fix yourself from the inside.

I don't know where you getting your information from but an 80 min casual or about 2 mph walk would burn around 400 calories whereas a 4 mph walk would be about 700ish. I also weigh over 200 lbs so I know that I get extra burn for that.

Okay, thank you guys! My Aldi is a good 20 minutes away or more so it is hard to justify the gas to go multiple times a week. Especially when there are other grocery stores within a few minutes from me. I guess I will have to weigh the pros and cons. So far the green peppers, cucumbers, apples, and other stuff are fine.…

If you read carefully the suicide warning for anti-depressants is usually for children under 18 and sometimes seniors over 60. The Trazodone warning says: http://www.webmd.com/drugs/mono-89-TRAZODONE+-+ORAL.aspx?drugid=11188&drugname=Trazodone+Oral&source=0 Also, you can read some reviews of people using it for insomnia…

My favorite tuna steak recipe. I like it simple, it really brings out the natural flavor, which in tuna is amazing. Nothing like the canned stuff. I don't have a grill so I cooked these inside on grill pan/griddle thing. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/grilled-tuna-steaks-recipe/index.html

Wow, you are gorgeous!! LOVE the tattoos. You look amazing. Such an inspiration :) My starting weight was 262. Sorry if this has already been asked but how tall are you and what is your goal weight? Edit: Nevermind! I found it on your profile :) 5'8" and 180lbs. What a great goal too. You are so close!!

Be careful of fish that tends to be high mercury such as swordfish, shark, king mackerel, and tilefish. I think Tilapia has the mildest flavor. Salmon is probably next. I love both of those. They are my fish staples and they are delicious and mostly cheap (which is important to me). Tuna steaks are freaking delicious!! I…

I definitely think you can lose weight eating pretty much anything as long as you are within your calorie limits. However, it doesn't always mean it is healthy for you. I cut out milk completely and replaced it with Almond Milk. I have tried to cut out cheese, I don't eat eggs either. I may be one of the rare breed that…

I need to check out the New Rules of Lifting for Women. I have heard a lot about that. I bought a Golds Gym 40 lbs dumbbell/barbell thing with plates and a Yoga mat. Both Aak picked out for me :flowerforyou: I also got a 10 lbs kettlebell since I only have a 4 lbs now. And whey protein powder. I have way too many DVDs…

I am obsessed with my oats! I use the old fashioned rolled oats. I cook them in milk (going to try them in Almond Milk now since I cut out dairy) on the stove (NEVER microwave!! Just NOT as good). Once they are done cooking I add just a touch of brown sugar , a smidgen of honey, dried berries, maybe golden raisins too…

This has a lot of good info. I was going to post my own thread but I guess I don't have to now. I only eat meat 2-3 times a week and the protein I get from other items such as plants, beans, and nuts only puts me around 50g of protein per day. I am pretty sure I need to be up in the 120s? (I weigh 250) I looked at hemp…

I like androgynous men. In my teens I had a huge fascination for boys in makeup. However, he does creep me out a bit. Since it was mentioned... I bring you true eye candy

You are correct, sir  Trying to do a pullup now would be pretty comical to watch. I love all of your choices, aak. You seriously are the best. You even went as far as picking me out girl stuff :flowerforyou: I love the pink blossom mat. I also REALLY like that dumbbell set! Checking for availability now on those two…

I'd like to see some research behind this? I don't fast so I can't offer a lot of advice but plenty of people fast (Ever watched "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead"? They all go on a juice fast for months). However, there are quite a few people here that swear by intermittent fasting. Which I believe is fast for certain times of…

iggy, I totally agree with you. I remember my Mom doing the food mover and his videos, which is how I got started on him. We still have the VHS tapes LOL. There was more to him than "step one, step two, YOU GOT THIS!", you know? He had been obese, he could relate. How he helped so many people and his genuine attitude,…

Hmm. I'd like to get fitness equipment but I know I need to find that on craigslist. I have to wait until I have the extra money for that which won't be until June and by that time I might be ready to use that money to join a gym (hubby won't let me join one yet since I joined one a couple of years ago and literally did…

Love that he always had "real" people in his videos too of all sizes. Even kids sometimes!
-
LOVE him! He is so sweet and seems like a genuinely caring and sensitive guy. I never followed his food plan but I used to workout to his DVDs. I should probably go get some and start up again. I just love his personality. I think he is very positive and motivating.

If you want you can replace sugar with something else (tracking wise) it was stressing me to see the stupid red number. You can go to Settings up top and then to Diary Settings This direct link should take you there: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings I really wish MFP would let us track more than 5. In my personal opinion, no. These are natural sugars and carbs. You want to avoid refined sugars. The lifestyle change I am on now includes 3-4 fruits per day. I think my smoothies alone may hit close to if not over my sugar for the day. I took the sugar tracking off and replaced it with sodium which is more of a concern,…

Yes, I have heard that from a lot of people (including my doctor). He said to practice at least 2 days on one and 2 days off one, even if you only use one other green. I usually try to do 2 days spinach, 2 days kale, and then 2 days something else. Sometimes there is no something else so I go back to spinach. I am looking…

From your pics you look pretty tall and very lean. I am not sure if there is 14 lbs to take off of you. My suggestion would be to up the lifting to tone more.

There have been quite a few studies. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dr-mark-hyman/diet-soda-health_b_2698494.html The study in particular: http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/early/2013/01/30/ajcn.112.050997 And trust me, there are more.

I am getting tested for PCOS on Monday, bleh.

They have done quite a few studies (that I am too lazy to google right now) saying that people who drank diet soda ate more and gained more than people that drank regular soda. When I do have a soda, which is very rare now, maybe once a month, it is regular. This is after a 6-8 can a day habit.

Oh! And you are in Sarasota! I am just south of Ocala!

Wow, we are awfully similar :) I am 28 years old, 5'7", 250 lbs, 39.2 BMI Although I don't do that much cardio every morning. I need to though. Right now I have been alternating 30 min cardio 3-4 days a week with circuit training on non-cardio days with at least 1, maybe 2 days off rest. I need to start walking and biking…
