I have degenerative disk disease and there are may ab exercises I just can't do because of the strain. I know I may never get the same kind of abs as others (Big sigh) but, at least I have less pain and I had to decide what I could live with and what I couldn't - pain free is much better. I found when I ate oatmeal for breakfast, I was hungry all day. I changed to having way more protein and I feel full longer. I have turkey sausage 1, scrambled egg 1, piece of nice toast with butter 1 (less than a teaspoon of butter - salt free) a piece of fruit. I eat at 5;30 am and am good to go until 10/10:30. Then I…

Just keep doing what you are doing. Do more sets or more reps. Change around the order you do the xercises. Google arm exercises and see what comes up.

You can walk 4 days a week, not a problem. Try walking slow to warm up. then do some dynamic stretches (you can goolge this). then do your walking routine. And don't forget to stretch after your walk., it will really help with the cramping. I walk as my main form of exercise (I do weights too) and there are lots of ways to…

Thank you for the response. I can use hand weights Pushupand dips can really hurt. I can plank as long as I am thoughtful. I can do most things as long as my neck is supported. I always eat my exercise calories back. I'm going to read the thread. Again thank you for your response. Kristine
