You know, though, I can totally relate to the fantasy. The idea that once you do all the hard work to get thin, then your work is over. I know it's not. I know it's an always thing, and that fit and thin people are that way because they don't over eat and are physically active. But somehow, especially before I started…

Yes Qdoba is like a Chipotle. I would go there. Skip the flour tortilla, and watch the cheese/sour cream/guac calories.

I finished yesterday. (Took me long enough!) My plan for now is to just do it again, with heavier weights where I can, and pushing for the advanced moves in the spots where I had to do beginner before. I've started C25K as well.

I have heard that Ripped is more intense than the Shred. But I've only done the Shred so far, and that has been plenty intense for my taste.

So far - Breakfast Shredded Wheat and Bran (1.25 cups) 3 strawberries, sliced .5 cup whole milk Lunch Garden Salad (lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, shredded carrots, bell pepper, cucumber, broccoli, sliced strawberries, beets) 2 Tbsp Ken's Lite Balsamic Vinaigrette .5 TBSP Sunflower Seeds 1 oz Feta That's a lot less than I…

I eat some of them back - about half, I'd guess. I try to leave myself about 100 calories under my goal most days (although on hungry days, I'll eat them all) to account for errors in the numbers. I've had good success so far - 13lbs in 8 weeks, which has been comfortable and encouraging.

Holy Cow - that's AWESOME! You look fantastic!

I've told Husband, parents, sister, and best friend. A few people at work have noticed. When they ask what I've been doing to lose weight, I say "Counting calories and exercising."
-
I've never done insanity, but I was thinking you could make yourself a countdown calendar - X days left until goal completed. You could use a regular calendar and cross days off, or even better, make a day by day calendar out of post its, and rip those things off and crumple them up every day when you finish your workout.…

I was going to suggest swimming too - it's a great workout, but gentle on the joints.

I would just add them to the diary separately - I do that with many things I cook. The peppers and mushrooms are really low, but you'll want to measure the olive oil.
-
I'm not cutting carbs, but wanted to comment on your coffee - I've been doing mine unsweetened too, not because of sugar, but because I always used NutraSweet and am trying to reduce my chemical consumption. Anyway, try putting a bit of cinnamon in the filter basket with your coffee grounds - it helps give a bit of a sweet…

How's your tummy? MickeyD's always messes with mine - especially if it's been a while since I ate it. Actually, It'd probably mess me up pretty bad if I ate it now - it's been weeks.

You have a lower BMI than 60% of females aged 30-44 in your country Global You have a higher BMI than 76% of females aged 30-44 in the world If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would add 48,899,343 tonnes to the total weight of the world's population You're most like someone from Uruguay

This. And it's in EVERYTHING. I found it on the nutrition label for my herbal tea the other day. Plus, I always liked Luna Bars as a quick fix when I was hungry, and now I worry about eating them.
-
Maybe try a different cereal? My favorite is Shredded Wheat and Bran - the serving size is bigger than most sugary cereals - 1.25 cups, and it's a little more calorie dense - 200cals per serving - but man does that stuff fill me up. I like to slice a couple of strawberries on top. And when I am counting calories, I ALWAYS…

Sounds like a healthy frame of mind - keep it up.

If you are wanting to get a little more nutrition from your extra calories (as opposed to the cookies) you could certainly do nuts, yogurt, cheese, a banana, a few slices of turkey, a glass of milk, - if I wind up under my calorie goal I like a Nature Valley Dark Chocolate and Oats Granola Bar. But I also think it's good…

In my eyes, there is not one thing wrong with dairy. I consume lots of it.
-
I don't eat them or buy them because I think they have a funny taste.

Finally finished my 30th day a few minutes ago!!!! I feel awesome!!!

I'm sorry - I can't support your discrimination against the letters I, M, and N.

Steak is pretty safe to order out, because usually restaurants don't dress it up too much - no cheese or breading or fancy sauces. Sirloin and Filet are pretty lean cuts. Make sure to ask them not to put butter on it - many places do because it really enhances the flavor.

I checked my diary, and I am consistently under the goal MFP sets, sometimes by as much as 1000 mg. I don't track salt I use while cooking, or what I use at the table, so I know it's not totally accurate. I tend to be pretty light handed with the salt shaker, though.
-
Yeah, this is definitely the answer. Surely my curiosity about the personalities of my MFP friends indicates that I am not getting out enough.

If you have a day here or there where you end up way under your net goal, I don't think it's a big deal - don't force yourself to eat if you don't want to. If you're going to be burning that many calories regularly, though, you will probably want to find a way to pack in some of those calories.
-
This is strictly my own opinion, but I would try going back to your "Weight Loss" calories, and then slowly increasing your goal by about 100 calories, adding more every two weeks (assuming you are still losing, or don't see a gain) until you find a level that works for maintaining your goal weight. I suppose your could…

Imagine it's money. You deposited $1577 in your calorie bank (by eating.) You spent $421 (through exercise.) So currently there is only $1156 in your account (your "net") Your goal is to have $1290 in your account at the end of the day. So to meet your goal, you would need to deposit $134. Many folks will say you should…

I vote for frying in a good non-stick pan. You could also poach your eggs.
-
Yup - it's just part of my morning routine - get up, pee, weigh, go downstairs and get coffee. I did it even before I was trying to lose weight.
