Wake between 7:30-8:30am. I have my coffee protein shake within the half hour. (If it's a run & weights day I have a recovery shake between 10:30-11.) I have lunch between noon-2:30. A snack between 3-4:30. Dinner between 5-7. And depending on my calories I have a protein shake around 8:30-9:30pm. I go to bed between…

Thanks y'all. Request sent! It is great to have support. (:

Yum!

Agreed! When I was working at the 24 Hour Fitness around me, I thought i'd meet some runners but NOPE. I might try to creep around the boards or maybe post a new topic on here.

I have never had anything on me while running. I don't know any runners around me. (I really want to join a running group too.) Dane, I may take you up on that offer! (:

I just want to say holy smokes! This is certainly going on my bucket list. I'm curious to see the answers for this myself...

I agree with CarsonRuns, I wouldn't try to tack on the added miles. Since you have completed 6 weeks without missing any, I am sure you can just continue and be fine. Sometimes life gets in the way, but i'd just keep on running! (:

Depends on my budget at the time. When I have to be cheap I use Pure Protein Vanilla because I can find it at my local Fresh and Easy. My favorites are Dynamitize (sp?) Elite Chocolate and 100% Gold Standard Optimum Whey French Vanilla. I have also randomly used Muscle Milk light (but I am moving away from Muscle Milk.)

I don't think it's running a certain amount necessarily that will result in weight loss. If you run, eat a clean proper amount, and add some strength in there then yes, you should lose fat. I am running between 15-20 miles a week and I actually haven't lost weight. I'm training for a marathon so I eat like 2,000-2,300…

I usually spend more when I am eating bad food because it doesn't make me full. I have to eat more and more often. A value meal at McDonald's, even large sized, leaves me hungry about 30-60 minutes later. The good thing about eating healthy is a meal makes do as a meal. I end up spending less because I am not constantly…

Thanks. I am worried about a belt weighing me down and I am already used to carrying a water bottle in my hand.

I also recommend upping to 10% and just having some patience. You'll get there, but we all know those last pounds are the most stubborn!

Good for you. I know it is hard to start eating what you need. When I start exercising I end up massively undereating and overexercising. Eventually, I get tired of it and I start laying around just eating. Learning how to properly fuel yourself is not easy at all. So congrats to you! And a double congrats for being able…

I am bumping myself :D

Gosh....I have had so many. I have a non-pregnant memory that sticks out. I was around 250lbs and before I became pregnant I carried the majority of my weight in my stomach. I was a big ole apple. Me and my hubby were at Magic Mountain. He insisted we go on the Superman Escapes ride (a ride I don't much care for) and I…

My goal is to start waking up around 6am to run so I can avoid as much of the heat as possible but I can never seem to get up before 8! Thanks for telling us about this app. Maybe i'll have a very early morning run now in my future (:

I run my first full marathon on October 7th (Long Beach Marathon) and I am running my second half August 12th. I am on week 4 of an 18 week program.

I am about 5'8.5" so feel free to add me!

Way to go!

The firs time I ever ran 3.15 miles it took me 45 minutes. What helped me gain speed was by running more. I increased my mileage and ran 4-6 days a week. I also strength train 2-3 days a week. Good luck. And keep in mind, no matter what your pace is you are faster than everyone on the couch!

This shake and my morning Starbucks Via protein shake are officially my favorites! Nutmeg sounds like a good add. Thanks (:

Hi, I am Heather. I am sending a request your way. I have ran in a 5k, a 10k, and a half marathon last year. I'm back to running and am currently training for my first full marathon in Oct. And any of y'all feel free to add me. I could use more runner friends.

1. People who don't use their turn signal. 2. The drunk teenagers at Disneyland (the last time me and my husband went) that ruined the Indian Jones ride for us. (We never get to ride it because we usually go with our 2 1/2 year old son, so we were both pretty angry.) 3. My mother, my father, my grandmother, and my…

80% of Mexican food. Sushi and tempura. RANCH. (It's a struggle for me not to go out and buy ranch when I make my own sweet potato fries.)
