  • Thanks! I'm just finishing up T25, and while I haven't seen much change on the scale either, I have noticed a lot of toning in my upper thighs/waist area, and my endurance has increased dramatically. I'm completely okay with these results!
  • Hey! I'm starting October 7th, just going to do T25 Gamma first. If anyone is starting in October, let me know! I know I'll be needing the support!
  • You'll catch on pretty quickly! I found that I had to concentrate on the footwork first, and then throw the arms in after i had that part mastered. Yay - great program, glad you've started it!
  • Hey! I'm on Week 8 of T25 - probably my favorite workout program yet (and FYI, I like the Beta phase even more than the Alpha phase!). It is a fantastic calorie burn for such a short time.
  • Hi Kate! Please feel free to friend me. I find having more friends is encouraging as their successes help motivate! Also, we can comment and encourage you on your way to hitting your goal! Vanessa
  • Agreed - take pictures. Also, take measurements! These are more definitive than pounds on a scale - you're losing fat but gaining muscle which weighs more. Not be too hard on yourself!
  • Agreed - she is was too thin. The best thing to do is not to compare yourself to others, but rather find the place that makes you happy and comfortable and healthy! And - measurements are key. When we exercise while trying to 'lose weight', we often gain muscle which can disguise fat loss, so make sure to keep measuring!…
  • Add me too! The more the merrier :)
  • Turbo Fire is an AWESOME program - you'll have a lot of fun doing it with a friend too! If you run out of the "Visalus", you should look into the Beachbody Shakeology product, it has helped me lose some unwanted weight for sure. Good luck to you! Feel free to 'friend' me if you need more support!
  • I agree - I think practice makes perfect! Someone once suggested that you should weigh all your food for a month, and then you become quite efficient at it. They suggest taking a week or so every year to 'brush-up' on your eye-balling techniques and to weigh everything again for that week. I used to always over-estimate…
  • Just sent a friend request! I've been on this site for a while, so if you have questions feel free to ask! Some go-to snacks for me at work (yes, i sit at my desk all day mostly too!): nuts - but make sure to only bring out about 100 calories worth. it's good to separate them into baggies after buying them at the store.…
  • Hey there! I've done both these programs... and yes, T25 is intense! Although the modifier is less effort, it can still be a challenge for someone just starting out. Have you tried just following the modifier? Slim in 6 is an okay program - I did it a couple of years ago, while eating really healthy and slimmed down really…
  • I would agree with alk - keep your level at sedentary and just add in your exercise calories when you do exercise. That's what works best for me!
  • Hmm... french toast sounds delicious right now! Anyway, haven't tried it on french toast, but on regular toast (rye, whole wheat, anything really), you can put a layer of almond butter, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a small swirl of honey. Spread the honey out with a knife and it is inrcedible! And the best part is a little…
  • Hey everyone! I'm 5'4" with a goal weight of 140. Please add! I'm trying to keep active and log cals, but need some more support!
  • Hopefully you see some more responses soon! Have you looked at just the regular "One-A-Day" multi-vitamins? There are women-specific ones that have additional iron in them I'm pretty sure.
  • Great idea! I've been around a lot over the past couple of years - I love the idea of spending this time on you. I'm here if you need a friend!
  • Hey there! I'm interested in seeing what others use, but I personally use Shakeology - it can be used as a meal replacement shake or a pre- or post- work-out supplement! Depending on the flavor, it ranges from 19-33% of your recommended daily intake of iron (chocolate being my favorite with 33%!). I've been using this…
  • Hey! It looks like you've already found your motivation - you gained a few pounds and you want to get rid of them before school in three weeks! I think the first thing to do is set a goal: exactly how much would you like to lose? is it more important to lose the pounds or to just 'tone-up'?
  • Hey there! From what I understand the best form on the elliptical is to try to keep your body stationary (your head shouldn't be bouncing up and down) - try this next time! Makes you feel the burn in your arms and legs an awful lot quicker! I haven't used mine in a while, so I can't comment too much on efficiency, but I do…
  • Wow that's incredible! I'm in need of some new friends on here too, I tend to be very sporadic with my tracking and I need to be more accountable! Add me friends!
  • Awkward! :P
  • Hey! I've done all three of these programs. I've also tried P90 - which I found boring as heck too (my mom was doing it). I loved Turbo Fire, as it has a lot of fun moves and Chalene is really motivating, but I found it hard to get used to some of the moves as I'm not super-coordinated! I also loved combat - the moves are…
