  • Incredible! You must be so proud of yourself. Just 5 workout days left for me, and then the Final Fit Test and pictures! I also didn't eat near as well as I could have, but this week I am pushing myself to eat properly and hopefully see the results I'm aiming for in the end! I love the side photo too! It's always my…
  • 21-Day Fix and P90X3 - both 30 minute vidoes with modifiers for beginners! Focus T25 is 25 minutes (plus 2-3 minute cool down) and has modifiers too. Slim in 6 is awesome for beginners - 6 week program, but the videos get longer for the last three weeks. hope this helps!
  • Thanks for the feedback folks! Hoping to see mine arrive Tuesday or Wednesday, latest!
  • Your results are incredible, no wonder you are super-motivated now!? Love seeing this.
  • Awesome! Your measurements and side view say it all!! PS - HOW DO YOU POST PICTURES HERE? Lol... It's impossible for me!
  • Incredible! Definitely not a failure at all! (but you should know that for even trying Insanity, silly!) I had a moment yesterday when I felt a little breakthrough. Made it through the entire Warm-Up without having to stop once, and pretty damn close to keeping up the speed of those crazy people! (Yep, I think the warm-up…
  • Fantastic improvement in 15 days! I'm on Day 7 today, so I'll post my results next week :) Some tricks I've used with my Polar FT4 are clipping the HRM on the band upside down or making sure the rubber on the band (which contacts your skin) is wet when you start it up. Also to keep it tight enough that it doesn't really…
  • Hmm tough question! I found that getting my workouts in before work in the morning has been the best thing for me - it does mean getting up a bit earlier, but it ensures I make time to workout and I feel ten times better during the day! This may not be practical for you, but just a thought :) Also, I'm starting Insanity on…
  • Happens to me too :( The only thing I found that helps so far is to loosen the laces on my shoes - I often get 'tingly toes' with shoes as I have high arches and tight laces cut the circulation off across the top of my feet.
  • I try! I missed Christmas day so my tally reset sadly... oh well. Just have to build it up again! Add me!
  • Hey :) Add me! I also love the support and motivation from my MFP friends!
  • Hey! I also got a bit lost in December, add me! The more friends on MFP, the better :)
  • Hey everyone! Feel free to add me. I've recently renewed my dedication to myfitnesspal - I love the support of others and I love to see how others are doing on their missions for success!
  • Awesome, love people getting back to it! I did T25 in the fall and am starting Insanity on Monday! Feel free to add me :)
  • Aren't we talking about Shakeology here? And not the way people type... geez you've said your peace, move along.
  • It's not advertised as a meal replacement, but it can be used for it. Just like anything else. Obvi.
  • Hi there! I think Insanity and P90X are not programs that really modify for beginners. I would suggest TurboFire (has low-impact modifications and is really fun!) if you're coordinated and can follow moves pretty easily, otherwise the choreography could be hard to follow. Slim in 6 is a great program if you don't get bored…
  • I find a lot of people's responses here to be quite uninformed and ignorant. It doesn't claim to be a 'protein shake' or a 'complete meal replacement'. It's a supplement to aid in weight loss, increase energy, reduce cravings and increase digestion and irregularity, and that's what the ingredients in it are meant to do. If…
  • Sure, why not use it for the rest of my life? It's an incredible supplement. Some people, like me, have a hard time getting in all the right nutrients everyday, not just protein (it doesn't claim to be a protein shake, by the way). This works for me. It's not doing me any harm, and I feel I have benefitted from it. I…
  • I agree with Katie's post above - all natural ingredients, no fake sugars, tastes great in my opinion too. I've been using Shakeology either as a supplement or complete meal replacement for about six months. It's very filling for me, has 18-20g protein depending on the flavor, and has helped curb my sweets cravings…
  • Add me! What are your fitness goals?
  • Feel free to add me too! I'm 26, but definitely go through periods of fantastic eating and then binging... ugh! This has to stop!
  • Always looking for supportive friends here, too! Feel free to add :)
  • I realize I may have over-stepped on some rules of the group posting, sorry all! Here are the full details of the challenge: please join me! Who doesn't have 5 minutes a day to contribute to a healthier lifestyle?! For 10 days, we are going to sculpt our arms, shoulders, buns and thighs! The challenge is VERY simple, and…
  • Oh, and I'm pretty positive the scoop is the same size as the packet!
  • Another good option is to use Almond Milk (only 30 cals for a cup of the unsweetened stuff) instead of water. My favorite all-time Shakeology recipe is with almond milk, peanut butter and half a banana. Yum! Adding plain greek or regular yogurt does a lot to help create a creamier texture too. Another option is to add a…
  • I use a Polar F7 and I love it. I've also done T25 and LOVED that program. I was finding I was burning about 300-325 calories for the speed and cardio workouts, and around 200-250 for the ones more based on strength training. I'm 5'4, 160lbs, and 26 years old.
  • Love this idea! However I'm an East-Coaster... I think I'd have an advantage!
  • Nice, I love Beta! So much better than Alpha... Actually, looking at my calendar I think I may start Gamma this week while finishing up Beta. Starting Insanity on Oct 7th so I really want to give Gamma a couple of weeks! Should be arriving today.
  • Thanks for the advice. I was thinking I would try 10s where I could, and have the 5s handy for when I can't handle the extra weight. And I don't know that I could use any weights for superman pulse, but I will definitely try! Thanks again!
