You dont have to use MFP calories, as long as you eat healthy and exercise, i dont see whats wrong with eating little bite more. When u set up your profile you have the option of choosing how many pounds a week you want to loose, aprox, if you choose 2 which is the most MFP has, then your calories change, if you choose 1…

I agree carbs are important, and if you try to cut them out it will be impossible and you will give up at the end.
