It's tough, but as soon as my weight goes up due to hormones, I stop weighing in. And then I set a goal to drop 0.5-1lb before my cycle is half over and I get back on the scale, so that tends to motivate me enough to get up and work through it. And it really does make me feel better and give me more energy. :)

Vanilla, I had an Undead mage named Lilliath. Actually... she's still on my account! (Inactive though. I haven't been able to play in months.) She was fire spec before fire spec was cool, as I like to say. ;)

I'm on week 1 day 4 today, and I have to tell you - I'm not nearly as sore this morning as I have been the last few days. Interested to see how my body handles the actual workout, but I'm feeling confident. :) The most annoying part of the whole video to me is right at the very beginning, when they're walking in, and she…

Started 30DS tonight, which has me excited! I may actually wind up working out twice a day twice a week, if I don't get exhausted, since I really don't want to skip a day, even on days I have my karate classes. :) Weekly Goal: 4000 Mon: 280 (30DS. I'd intended to do some karate afterwards, but I got a bad headache from not…

I got married when I was 19. I'm 26 now, and after nearly a divorce and a bad in-between guy, let me give you a little advice. Guys say what we want to hear. I found out the hard way that men will say anything to get what they want out of us, and it takes years to find out the truth sometimes. So whatever you do, take it…

Suddenly being terrified that someday I'll gain it all back! I never really used to care if I gained a pound or two, but now when the scale inches up a half pound, I become terrified it's all going to come whooshing back. Crazy, I know, but I think I'm more obsessed now than I ever was, even back when I was REALLY…

When people read books while walking or running. And the only reason that bugs me is because I'm JEALOUS!! I wish I could see the words of a book clearly while walking or running, and could spare some thought to focus on the words. All I can do while working out is think "Oh gosh, is it over yet? Please?"

This.

Oh yes. It seems like every time I near my goal I think "Oh it's no big deal. I'll just eat this pizza and oreos. I'm nearly there, right?" So this time around, every time I get close to my goal I've moved it backwards, haha. I also got a bad round of the munchies with my monthly hormones, and so I decided that for one…

I haven't done Ripped in 30, but I'm doing 30DS right now. I'm really active and I considered myself to have good endurance, but I can say that it's kicking my behind! Not to mention there are tons and tons of posts with amazing results from it. I reccomend it!

I started Sunday night, but you can add me if you want! I've been posting about my progress daily, and I enjoy talking to people who are doing it or have done it. :)

I have a three-year-old myself and am working back down to my PPW. Shame it took me three years, right? But there you go! You at least lost it the first time around! Feel free to add me. :)

Yay for geek girls! I'm into GW2 and Kingdoms of Amular (sp? I hate trying to remember how to spell that...) right now. Friend request sent!

I'm 5'4, and admittedly I didn't have a ton to lose to begin with. But so far, I've dropped 1-2 lbs a week, until last week when I only dropped 0.5, but that was ok because I'm down to the last 10lbs and I knew it would slow down. I'm eating a static number of 1700 based on my TDEE -20% and exercising the 30 minutes a day…

I tricked myself into it when I was 17. ;) I began taking a martial arts class for self defense purposes... and discovered they're TONS of fun, and one heck of a great workout! I get all tired and sweaty and sore, but I'm having so much fun that I don't care! When you can kick your way through three pine boards, it's no…

Not a new member, but I'm 26... I think? Wait, am I 26 or 27? Let's see, born in 1986... Yeah, ok, I'm 26. Sorry, I tend to forget. I'm 5'4, currently 133.5, working on dropping another 8lbs or so. Feel free to add me!

26, mother of one 3-year-old. :) Anyone is free to add me - I love having more motivation!

Depends on what you were trying to accomplish. If your goal is to be stopping the bad guy, presumably your luck would make it so you could do so. At superhuman levels, which to me is what would make Luck a super power, it's reasonable to assume it would stretch so far as to make sure you could continue to BE a superhero.…

Luck. Think about it - if you're lucky, the bullet would always miss. Or you would get out of the fire unhurt. Or you'd manage to be in the right place at the right time to catch the bad guy. Luck will always trump any other super power, I think.

Seasonings. I'm not worried about salt intake, and I don't really measure when I sprinkle some garlic powder or italian seasonings on a piece of chicken, so I just figure it's not a big deal. 5-10 calories isn't going to break my weight loss.

I wasn't REALLY big, but when the first ten came off, and I began to see my muscles peeking through my flab, that was when I really noticed. My husband did too, surprisingly, since he's the least observant person in the whole world. (Not even kidding. I have a running game of "see how long it takes Dan to notice" where I…

I was a freaking stick as a kid. My mom calls it the family curse - we can eat anything we want... until we have our first child. Then suddenly we gain weight just by LOOKING at junk food. ;) Granted, I think she used that as an excuse, which is why I'm working my butt off to prove to her that I can have a child and still…

Weekly Goal: 4000 Mon: 458 (karate. Would normally be an Arm night, but my hands are torn and blistered and I have to lay off until they heal. :( ) Tues: 1200 (karate class) Wed: 402 (kata. Slow, careful kata. I see the doc tomorrow, so hopefully I should know soon if I can go back to working hard.) Thur: Had to take a day…

Upon checking... nope! All are old of me at my fattest. :P
-
Mine are sort of old, but it's actually of me at a larger weight, so I don't mind so much. I *do* have a picture of the me I want to be again in my profile, though... or at least, I think I do. I should probably check someday.

I'm on Cymbalta. And honestly? I found it severely helped me lose weight, because it took away my munchies. Everyone reacts differently I suppose, though usually the Cymbalta horror stories I hear are about people who can't manage to eat anything on it. ::shrug:: My experience has been positive for the past year or so.
