If that picture in your profile is you, you look great already! Is it at all possible your scale goal isn't probable? Do you have a BF% goal? It seems like so many of us get caught up on the number on the scale that we forget that it isn't an omnipotent indication of being in shape. :)

If you're eating healthy (and enough!) and getting enough water, I would definitely go make an appointment, just to be safe. I've skipped one here and there before, but two or more in a row while not on a birth control that causes such things is definitely a sign you should have a checkup.

I stopped letting one single mistake derail me. So I caved and had a cookie early in the day? That's no excuse to stop for the whole day! Had a bad day yesterday? Just get back on track and don't let it spoil your week! As soon as I stopped thinking long-term and took it a day at a time, it didn't seem so hard. I really…

Since giving birth to my daughter, and even with kegals, I've had a weak bladder. The only way I get through the jumping is to use the potty RIGHT before I start and wear a pad during. If I leak, I leak - I take a shower right after anyway. As for the UTI - yeah, you're probably not getting enough water. Dehydration is a…

Twice is my max, and only once if I wore it on a "grunge" day - a day when I was staying home all day and didn't work out and didn't bother to shower. :P (Hey, as the mom of a three-year-old, showers are sometimes a luxury I can't afford! Haha.) I wash them with my regular clothes, but I don't put them in the dryer. It…

Sat Sun Mon: 30DS Tues: karate class for two hours. Whee! Wed Thurs: 30DS Fri: Karate class for two hours. WHEE!! :D Sometimes I'll throw in a little extra cardio in the* form of karate if Jillian didn't kick my butt hard enough, but it's rare. *Edit to fix a typo. "In for form." That made no sense at all.

Ohhhh, that is EXACTLY why I exercise. Getting in shape is great, but mostly I just love the feeling of being strong and light as I fly through my martial arts moves. I have chronic depression, so exercise is my anti-antidepressant, haha! Not that it stopped me from needing to take meds my whole life, but I firmly believed…

My advice? Take a rest day (Well, maybe not REST, but a cardio day) once every 2-3 days to give your muscles some time to recover. I found that not giving myself this made my form worse and my body weaker. I couldn't get the most from my workouts if I didn't give my muscles a chance to rest a few times a week. :) It may…

I've had hypo my whole life, pretty much. It wasn't until I was pregnant with my daughter that they finally found the right dose for me - 200mcg. You read that right, 200! As soon as I hit the right dosage, weight loss became tons easier. As long as I exercised regularly and ate within my calories, it came off at a steady…

I'm not a drinker, really - I drink maybe once or twice a YEAR - but I equate going drinking to letting myself eat a bunch of bad foods. I give myself treats daily as long as it's in my calorie limit, so perhaps you can find space for a glass of wine or whatever. But as far as just letting go? I only let myself do that…

I drive an hour and a half to my karate class twice a week, and an hour home. (Traffic going, but none coming back. Nice, that.) I get the most horrible dairy cravings after class, and it had been a habit of mine to stop for a milkshake to get rid of them. And then I started tracking calories and realized how bad they…

Heavy lifting heavy lifting heavy lifting! The more muscle you build, the better you'll look. :) Don't be afraid of "bulking" - go look in the sucess stories and you can see how amazing so many women look after doing heavy lifting for a while.

My rule of thumb is that the first day I see an increase in my weight - usually 5 days before TOM starts - I stop stepping on the scale, and I hide the measuring tape. I refuse to go near either one until I'm more than halfway through TOM, but I bust my behind working out for that whole time. How amazing does it feel to go…

Sorry hun, but most people around here will tell you that losing 30 pounds in 3 months may be possible - not likely, but possible - but it is extremely unhealthy. A more reasonable goal is something like one or two pounds a week, and at your size even two pounds a week is pushing it. So realistically, in three months you…

Weekly Goal: 3000 Mon: 113 (kata. Just kata. Still feeling a bit sick and weak.) Tues: calories burned (how they were burned) Wed: calories burned (how they were burned) Thur: calories burned (how they were burned) Fri: calories burned (how they were burned) Sat: calories burned (how they were burned) Sun: calories burned…

No no no, it's in my bag against the wall. I usually remember to turn it off, but if I get there late due to traffic it may slip my mind. We're pretty casual, but I never stop to answer it. I'd be doing push ups for ages if I did. :P I just wait until our short water break and then turn it off.

My husband has this really annoying habit of texting me in the middle of my karate class. About the stupidest things! I keep telling him that from the moment I walk out the door until I walk back in, unless it's REALLY important, he shouldn't text me. At all. I drive an hour to get there - it's a class that's a bit out of…

I find it's hard to let go of what you think you look like. I used to be very, VERY in shape, and it took my a long time after having my first child to even really see that I was getting heavy. Now I'm in the same boat you are - I'm losing weight, but I have a hard time seeing it. Last night, I put on a dress I wore to a…

Had to give up last week when I got sick, but I'm back at it today! Setting myself to 3k since I need to go light for a day or two until I get back up to speed. Weekly Goal: 3000 Mon: calories burned (how they were burned) Tues: calories burned (how they were burned) Wed: calories burned (how they were burned) Thur:…

I have no desire to play it again, but my husband went back and actually enjoyed it so much he chose to subscribe. *shrug*

Kingdoms of Amalur! (Spelling that sucks. Really. I had to look it up. But great game!!)

I wished and wished and wished we'd named our little girl Alanna or Aislinn, but my husband didn't like them, and I wasn't going to pick a name we didn't BOTH love. So... maybe you and yours will love them! :D

I'm not expert, but it sounds like there are some deeper issues. Have you talked to a doctor about them, or some sort of professional? Or if you don't want that, or can't afford it, or whatever, maybe you could take up journaling. Writing down your thoughts and feelings might help you to find the root of the problem and…

I started a week or two after the new year... it took me that long to decide that was going to be my goal this year! But since then I've had some crazy success, IMO. I'm lighter than I've been since I was pregnant, and I'm hoping that by July I can hit my goal weight range of 125-128. :)

"Just because the cat licks her butt doesn't mean you should." "Stop bathing yourself with your cupcake!" "No, you cannot brush your teeth with a paintbrush." And related: "Red paint is NOT ketchup!" "Sweetie, that's a coloring book. There are no words. I can't read it to you as a story..." "Well, maybe you shouldn't have…

You know, in this day and age, with video chat and email and facebook and all of that nonsense, I actually really love moving a lot. My husband is Army, so I figure I'll get to do it most of the rest of my life, and I'm sort of glad for that. It's fun seeing new places and learning new "cultures" (NJ is completely…

Well. I grew up in Riverside, CA. I moved to Tacoma, WA. Then I moved to Bartlett, IL. From there it was to Moreno Valley, CA. Central NJ. Colorado Springs. Now I live in Northern NJ.

@OP (pointedly ignoring the argument going on here.) I had mine out last July after the doctor discovered it was COMPLETELY full of stones, and warned me of the potential complications of that. Since then I've been pretty much ok, only I discovered there is one single food I can't eat now: peanut butter. Crazy, right? I…

I dunno. I had my first child when I was 23, so I suppose when I hit 24-25-ish she was really just beginning to sleep through the night, and I was a ROCK, catching up on my sleep, haha. I'd sleep 12 hours a night sometimes. My husband thought I was crazy. I'm 26 now, but I'm also on an antidepressant that limits my sleep…
