Anybody?

I'd try again tomorrow or the next day. No two runs are alike so it could just be that you had a bad running day. Keep at it, though. Also, don't worry too much about your first 5k. The adrenaline on race day will help get you to the finish. Good luck!

I eventually want to get either NASM certified or Nutrition certified or maybe both...that'll definitely depend on funds, though, 'cause that **** ain't cheap, either.

I mean that they are there to check in, see how you're doing, offer motivation and support. And perhaps those trying to sell it to you are currently working on their goals and therefore wouldn't be in as good of shape as you already are.

Good for you for giving it a chance and realize that it won't be a miracle working and that you still have to do the work. I think so many people look down on Advocare and supplements and everything and I completely understand that you do not need them to lose weight but I also think it depends on your specific and…

I'm going to the grocery store tonight. It's going to be very difficult to say no to Little Debbie after this thread. Especially because I need to go down that aisle for something else.

No shoes, and you'd better take yours off when you come in, too. I don't know why, I feel so constricted when I wear shoes all day that when I get home, taking my shoes off is akin to taking my bra off. So incredibly relaxing.

One that's in my mouth. Seriously, though, I like most of them. I'm most likely to buy fudge rounds or zebra cakes (or whatever holiday variation is out), though.

I agree that $80-$130 seems to be the most common range. Good luck and welcome to the amazing world and community that is running!

I'm a legal assistant and managing clerk at a law firm. Fortunately, they don't mind me snacking throughout the day and/or eating at my desk and we have two refrigerators so it's nice to have the space to store healthy snacks like my carrots and hummus and yogurt. :)

Bumping to look at later.

I've always heard for 5 and 10ks that you don't need to worry much about fueling/refueling and that you don't need to worry about that until you start training for a half. I could be completely wrong, though. I've found that if I'm comfortable during training, I do the same thing for the race. For example, if I run in the…

Where, in chilly NY, are you from? I'm from Rochester! Welcome! I do use a few Advocare products, mostly just the energy drink, but I mostly watch what I eat and exercise. I started running last year and have four 5ks planned so far for this year. I still have about 30lbs to lose. Good luck and feel free to add me!

I feel like I could have written this. I'd also add, frozen appetizers. My husband and I would make and eat the whole package, regardless of serving size.

This is great. I currently use Herbalife's meal replacement shake because I get it free from my dad but this is a reasonably priced mix that I'll have to try eventually.
-
Yes, you drink it in place of a meal. Typically breakfast but you can replace which ever meal you want. For example, say you have time to prepare yourself breakfast and lunch but you don't have time to make dinner. Use it for dinner. As for your other question, I haven't done the 21 Day Fix but I have done the Advocare 24…

That's great! Are you eating more veggies and drinking more water, too? That could contribute to the bloated feeling.

TMI - my stools were softer than normal but the cleanse phase didn't make me go any more or less frequently. If you feel at all nervous about taking any of the products, then don't continue. As you said, every body is different and maybe yours just doesn't like Advocare products. There's nothing wrong with that. Feeling…

I have tried many different meal replacement shakes. Slim Fast, Herbalife, Advocare, Body By Vi, Shakeology. The aspartame in Slim Fast gives me migraines though I actually really like the taste. My dad sells Herbalife and gives me their meal replacement shakes for free, so I actually drink one for breakfast each day…

Yep! I met one of my friends, Steph, on here. Also, she met her now-husband on MFP. He flew here to Rochester, New York from California! Steph and I text periodically, but we've only met up a few times due to crazy schedules or lack of money.

Good luck! Feel free to add me for support! I'm starting my second round on June 1!

Following to try later!

I eat breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack and then dinner. My snacks are usually a banana, apple, clementines, grapes, carrots and hummus, yogurt, cottage cheese or peanuts. I always make sure I only have one serving with me, which helps prevent binge eating my snacks. haha.

I had all four done at the same time and it was long before I was really focusing on my weight so I didn't care much what I ate. One of them dry socketed so I was in pain for a few weeks while that cleared up. Prior to having them removed I actually had no pain at all, so that was a PITA. I ate pudding, jello, mashed…

I've been on week 6 of c210k (may be the exact same as c25k week 6) for like a month. haha. And I run at 4.5mph. There is nothing wrong with repeating weeks and going slower. I found that finding the right pace for me was a lot easier when I started running with a friend. They say your pace should be one at which you can…

This is pretty much what I think, too.

Good luck! Feel free to add me for support! I did my first challenge in January, my profile picture shows my results.
