Dee81112, admittedly, the majority of my posts are of my pets...

That is a good point. The Color Runs do not record your time for you, but you could always monitor that yourself if you have a HRM or Stopwatch or something. It may not be 100% but it'll be close.

Practically any song from Pitch Perfect (the movie). I just recently bought the soundtrack and put them all on my phone so I can jam out at the gym. First time at the gym since I got them on my phone was Tuesday....and I forgot my dang headphones. Going tonight, though, with headphones.:drinker:

Definitely C25K (Couch to 5k). I bet I couldn't even make it 30 seconds when I first started. I'm currently training for my first 10K and LOVE running. Another little note, I've heard that so many people do the color run and just walk it for fun that if you're a slower runner, you'll probably be dodging around a lot of…

I'm an Advocare peep  , not Herbalife peep, but my dad sells Herbalife and gives me shake canisters whenever I need them so I drink a shake for breakfast whenever I don't feel like making something else, they're definitely one of the better shakes out there. I never lost weight just drinking one shake a day and…

It is $75 for the distributor kit, which includes like $50 worth of free product, mainly Spark and Slam. There is no monthly obligation, however there is a $50 annual renewal fee. To my knowledge you don't get another kit/product when you renew, but I don't know that for sure. My one year is coming up in May. As a…

I'm 5'1" and 24 years old. Started at 175lbs and am currently 158. My profile photo shows some of my progress thus far. I'm not finished, yet, but still a success.

I did my first challenge from January 1st through 24th! My profile picture shows my results. I blogged about my journey, including recipes, what my typical day looked like and how I was feeling. Feel free to check it out. I'll send you the link in a PM; even though it's not promoting anything it could be removed by one of…

You look awesome and so much younger!

It's worth it. I've never stuck with the whole thing but I definitely saw results with what I did. It's only like $10 at WalMart but all three levels are also on youtube, so no purchase necessary! I'll try to find the links to them and edit this when I do. Level 1 - do for 10 days (not necessarily all right in a row. Take…

It will obviously vary based on your mileage but I've heard 3-6 months.

Also, to become a distributor it is $75 to get the kit, which comes with Spark and Slam samples, but you automatically get 20% off of your purchases. So $60 for Spark after shipping and tax turns into $49.61 after shipping and tax. Based on what you sell or buy for yourself in a given period you can get up to 40% off all…

Spark you can only purchase through an Advocare Distributor. C4 you can get at GNC.

I am not a vegetarian but I made this Cowboy Caviar during my challenge that I ate on turkey breasts. http://braisedanatomy.com/2013/06/10/cowboy-caviar/ Jamie Eason's Turkey Meatloaf Muffins are great....I assume there is some kind of substitute (tofu?) you could use. I recently made this recipe a second time and instead…

That's awesome!! Great work!

Good for you for going! Everyone always says "nobody is looking at you, they're too focused on their own workout" which is true to an extent. However, I'm a people watcher. I love to watch people. So some people may look at you and watch what you're doing. But I am 99% sure that what is going through their mind is how…

Hi! I started running in April 2013. I've run two 5Ks and am currently redoing the C25K program to begin training for a 10K in May! I actually downloaded a C210K app, the first 8 weeks are the same as the C25K. It's slow going but I have time and am loving it!

I also said that for me, the Challenge was more mental than physical. Placebo effect implies ineffectual, deceitful or simulated results, aka the Challenge does nothing. Results with Advocare are not ineffectual, deceitful or simulated. I have stronger willpower, better eating habits, more energy, and I lost weight. Just…

Well said.

I haven't been taking anything but the omegaplex/fish oil since my challenge ended. And the Spark.

I've only sold a couple of things. The Spark energy drink is amazing. I'm a distributor more for the discount than to make money. I'm not a pushy sales-person type personality. People know I sell it and if they are interested or have questions they contact me. I recommend the products that I have tried, that have worked…

For me, it was a mental battle. I needed the "challenge" to get me there mentally after trying several times to create better habits and them not sticking. Now I have created habits that I am continuing and have stronger willpower. I'm going to use those habits that I picked up to the best of my ability to continue eating…

That's awesome! More energy is always a win.

FYI, if you download the Zen Labs C210K App, the first 8 weeks are exactly the same as the C25K App, eliminating the need for both. :drinker:

In for other responses. I think it's do-able. Beginner training plans are about 14 weeks so that's only 3.5 months. Sometimes it takes people longer to complete a training week if they can't make it through the whole run the first time. And if you are careful and follow a training plan, that should help reduce the…

Her yoga DVD is hardcore. In general I think of yoga as relatively relaxing. Hers is by no means relaxing. It's a full body work out.
