My gym has Body Pump classes several evenings per week. The class was great for me to get started lifting weights. I learned a lot and I liked the atmosphere and music in there. Good luck!

I was strictly eating 1200 calories per day maximum for the first few weeks of my "diet". It worked for a couple of weeks, but then I stopped losing.
