Ditto on the Zumba! I'm an addict, its so much fun. If you dont have the classes in your area (which are easy to find by entering in your zip on the zumba.com website) you can also get the DVD's. But I would highly recommend doing them in person, its so much fun!

Yep, I actually gained the first week. I think it just took my body to adjust to the extra exercise and being outside its comfort zone. The next week I lost 2 lbs. Good luck!

I dont have experience w/ WW except that i've had a few friends and family members do it, and they did well, until they met their goals or they couldn't get down to their goal, in which they gave up. I've burned 700-800 in one of the 60 minute routines, and then if you are doing abs on top, then it could very well been accurate! Good for you if so!!!

I dont think there is anything wrong with your thinking. I do the same thing. The deficit that is causing you to lose weight is from the decreased amount of net calories consumed overall, based on what you would normally consume just to maintain.
