I watched the scale go up and up year after year starting in my late 20's. I always thought to myself, "i can loose it whenever i want". I would loose 10-15 pounds or so but gain it all back plus 5 pounds. I also watched the clothes sizes go up and up. First 2x then 3x and before I started this journey most recently I was…

Late night snacking is probably my Achilles heal. Help!

I've been up and down for years and I know the struggle with food. Last year I finally hit my "enough" moment and finally decided to face this head on. I've doing nicely since then.

You guys look great!

Almost 2 years to the day apart and 60 lbs difference. My lifestyle change has only been for about 6 months but it was hard to find a picture of me. Still have about 30 pounds left and I feel great

I weigh every day with smart scale. It sends the information an app and and now that I have almost 8 months of data it's interesting to see the weight loss trend. I may have 3 or 4 weeks where I don't really loose or possibly gain a couple pounds. Then I'll tweak my workouts or eating plan and loose 10 pounds in two weeks.…

Thanks everyone! I'm still chipping away. As of tdday I'm down almost 60 pounds now and thinking about a new suit sometime soon!

Me too! I have a new born and some days I just cant get out to go exercise. My wife is still adjusting so sometimes I don't go to the gym but i get all antsy. So one day I found an old jump rope and i figured out I could jump rope in the foyer (where it's a high ceiling) while my wife naps and the baby sits in the swing.…

I know what you mean about booths at restaurants! I was starting to hate them but now I fit!

I started in October and by the end January I had lost over 40 lbs. Then through February the scale didn't move a drop. I even gained a few pounds. When March hit was a little discouraged but re-focused my energy and have lost almost 15 pounds for a total weight loss of 58 pounds since October. Height: 6'5 Starting weight:…

Unfortunately it's not that exact in that short of time. However, if the foods you are eating are nutrient rich and you have upped you activity level, then over time you will start to see a difference. That's about the shortest answer I can say without writing a dissertation. :)

Hey everyone! I love the energy coming from this thread! I've currently lost 35ish pounds and looking to 50 more by summer. It's completely possible! I've been on this weight roller coaster the better part of ten years and recently realized I'm just going to be one of those people who will always have to be conscience of…

It looks like everyone here has provided some great at home solutions so I'll just throw my 2 cents worth of experience in. I used to be a "gym rat" and scoffed at the idea of home workouts. I always felt you needed commercial grade equipment and a membership to show for all your hard work. Well life for me finally settled…

I'll add you. I post pretty often and for some reason It's easier interacting with people I don't know. lol

I believe when you set your profile up it asked for your current height and weight. Based off that it does some calculations of the amount calories you can eat. 1300 does seem low but I'm 6'5 295. My number is 2020 calories per day.

Awesome great job!

Me too! I really enjoy making new friends and motivating each other.

Proof that it can be done!

I have the withings scale and love it. It was hard to justify spending over a hundred bucks on a scale but I'm so glad I did. Anyone who's committed to doing better for themselves can add me. I look forward to friending you all.
