Awesome advice! You all have interesting perspectives and I appreciate all of the knowledge you shared. Thanks for all of the advice!

That makes sense. Thanks for your comments. There were two ideas behind my rule of thought. 1. I was hoping by eating organic and less chemicals/pesticides in the foods, it would help me utilize more nutrients and less strain on my body to try and digest things quicker. 2. With as expensive as organic foods are, I thought…

My number 1 tip is EAT MORE FAT!!! This is not a high protein diet! I started eating a lot of protein and fat but I noticed when I lowered my protein and ate more fat, I lost more weight!

Me too. :) When you put in the work and then see it in pictures, it helps make the next month easier. I love everyone here. They are very encouraging and keep me accountable.

Wow awesome results after only 2 weeks! Very encouraging. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. ❤️ I usually would not post pictures of me in this state but when I see the fat loss difference after a month, it makes me want to keep going and to encourage others. I will take measurements later and see the difference. My clothes tell it’s own story. :)

It’s a supplement that I used to get into ketosis quickly.

I went into ketosis fairly quick. I didn’t cheat at all, very low carbs (sometimes negative net carbs) and I took a keto pill to try and minimalist the keto flu which I did. Love this diet very much. I just passed my month mark.

My go to high fat food, lately, is Keto broccoli cheese soup. And I eat an avocado every day. We make quiche a lot too.

That’s awesome! Congratulations!

Thanks so much. Sounds delicious especially when I crave something sweet.

Ok ladies. I hit my 180’s today. The first time in a decade. 189.6. That may not be a weight that most boast about but today I am a happy camper. 😊. This diet works.

Your testimony brought tears to my eyes. What a remarkable journey. I hope I am equally successful as you are. I agree about how much better I feel physically and it’s something I can do forever. Thank you for sharing.

What is the recipe for the chia seed pudding with coconut milk. That sounds good

Great advice! Cold turkey here too. I’m on week three and no cravings. Feel great and losing weight. :)

Where is the chicken pot pie recipe? Made with cauliflower?

Hello. My name is Tracy. I am 49 and started the Keto diet yesterday (for the first time). It’s been a while since I’ve been on MFP. I weighed in at 203.8. I have birthed 9 kids. Ages 27 to 6. Been married almost 30 years. My first grandbaby came in April.

If you like to eat often during the day (like I do), I will eat smaller meals 6 times a day. Make sure your portions are small. Then even if you get hungry, after an hour or so, you know you can eat in another hour or two. I also make sure to eat the right types of foods. Somehow, for me, if I know I can eat every couple…

Thanks so much! :)

You are exactly right! Thanks for the encouragement!

Thanks everyone. We have been following the Advocare program. Yes, we did the cleanse and used some supplements, however without diet, it would be useless. Diet consists of at least a gallon of water, few starchy carbs (typically we ate quinoa and few sweet potatoes), salads, eggs, chicken and lean meats, protein shakes,…

And here are mine.

Thanks, lepert. That helps. I'm planning on doing the best that I can to strictly stay on the plan to see how much I can lose. I will keep updating as I go along. Hope your second cleanse goes well.
-
Hi Lepert. How much have you lost in the past 90 days of being on the challenge? I am on day 15 of the challenge and bought enough supplements to last for 3 months after the challenge and I want to get an idea of how much I can lose by sticking to the eating plan. Thanks.
-
Thanks stayfitchelle. How did you like Advocare? How about you pinkfirefly2?

Hi Mia. I don't think I would up your treadmill at all especially if your ankles and hips are ok to about 30 minutes and then they start bothering you. If you wanted to add more exercise, I would walk. I personally started eating 600 more calories a day (eating up all of my exercise calories) and have gone over my allotted…

You look awesome! My husband and I have been married for 24 years. When we married, he was around 140 and was a semi professional body builder and has since gained a little and is currently around 170. He is fillipino and 5'4". Do you mind sharing your height? You both seem to be the same body shape. I am going to use your…
