I agree with jojo. Sometimes I'll only do a cheat meal every other week depending how disciplined I've been. Gotta earn it!

Also, don't worry about being able to run without walking. Run the pace you want and walk as needed.…

I weigh and log everyday. I don't stress either. To each their own, don't let anyone tell you to stop if it works for you.

I agree. It may not provide awesome, outstanding stellar results alone but I wouldn't dismiss it. It would be better than nothing when time is short.

Very inspiring!!

Good luck!!

Bump for later. Working with a trainer now ... but this looks interesting for after

The only not so great part of your after pic would be the socks and flip-flops combination!! lol Seriously though, you did great for not even being able to finish it. Don't listen to the haters - they are just afraid you will motivate them to start. Keep exercising and getting healthier!!!

I think it starts by getting to bed at a decent hour the night before.

All of these self-serving "do me a favor, blah blah blah ....." threads should be forbidden. There seems to be a rash of them tonight and I have yet to see any of them be productive.

My only suggestion is don't make it a competition. While it is wonderful your SIL is losing so fast, it was by artificial means which you simply can't compete with. I would think it will become more difficult for as she gets closer to her ideal weight. Even if it doesn't, just keep doing what you are doing.

So, I suffered from them while running in the military. I was told by a military gym trainer that it is a membrane around the shin muscle that is stretching from the extra blood flow. He told me to do toe lifts any time I was just standing. Simply alternate lifting your toes off the ground. This will strengthen that muscle…

I agree with Jen, def look thinner in the face and neck. I lose the same way - face, neck, legs, arms .... Still waiting for my mid section to reduce. Hang in there, it will come. The question is ... how do you feel? Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

@Imiedema - Don't feel bad - get determined. It happened and you can't change that, but you can control what you do tomorrow. Mine was pizza, chips, and chocolate cake. I've been craving for awhile and now that I have it out of the way I can focus on the next 10 lbs. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

Thanks for the encouragement SD. I had to work nights earlier the week which generally causes very low calorie counts and today I don't feel well. A little too much weakness to deal with the craving. I'll be back on the horse tomorrow. I guess that means some extra time on the treadmill is in order. Created by…
