  • Just an FYI..when you type in your cardio or strength training in MFP, you can adjust your calories burned. You don't have to leave it at what automatically populates. I use a HRM and then adjust it when I enter my exercise time. :)
  • Congratulations! You look AMAZING and you are truly an inspiration to many including myself! I am 5'2" and started out at 204lbs (eek!) and it's wonderful to see someone who was able to accomplish the same goals that I have for myself! I am down to 185 and I don't plan to stop. Thank you for reminding me that I can do it…
  • my favorite low cal drink is citrus vodka and soda water! 60 calories for one short drink. The only thing to be cautious of with tonic water is sugar content. Unfortunately, most bars don't have the low sugar option, so I always stick with soda water to be safe. Enjoy your weekend!!
  • We have almost exactly the same stats! Only I am a little bit shorter at 5'1". I started at 204 and now weigh 188. I am really looking forward to losing the next 10lbs, and my goal weight is also 130. These pictures you posted are very inspiring and I can't wait until I can post mine too!
  • Unfortunately, dear, one of the hard parts about doing what's right for your body is that sometimes it's not completely enjoyable. It really doesn't matter if you are picky, it matters that the food is the fuel for your body and will jumpstart your weightloss. You may develop a taste, you may not. But either way, it's…
  • Careful with the nutella. It's LOADED with sugar. :)
  • I have been taking pictures about every 2-3 weeks. While the changes are small, I want to be able to see multiple progressions. It's crazy how you notice different areas of your body in the pictures that you would never notice when you look in the mirror. For me, when I look in the mirror, I focus on two places: my belly…
  • If you don't like lettuce, you could always just use all of the toppings you like and wrap them all in the turkey! Or simply use one piece of bread, instead of two.
  • I (personally) do not believe in eating back most or all of your exercised calories. (I realize that many people will probably yell at me on here for this), but it doesn't quite make sense that if, in order to lose weight, you need to burn more than you take in...why would you take back in everything that you burnt? Does…
  • I highly suggest taking photos of yourself in the mirror! I take a frontal view and a side view about every 4 weeks. I do pay attention to the scale, but I've noticed that while it takes awhile for the scale to move (and if you're impatient like me, this can be very unmotivating), but you can definitely see the results in…
  • Anything that is in red is what you've gone over in relation to your suggested intake.
