I agree, I want to stab Jillian (does working out increase violent tendencies?) I really wish they'd done a sound track with just the music and not the talking so I can get a beat with out feeling the need to beat her

I have been fiddling with the exercise bike resistance and the treadmill gradient while wearing the HRM. The displays on the bike and the treadmill don't change for time, but the HRM seems to vary about the same as my body feels. I just go with the HRM.

This is second hand from my dad, he used to carry a laptop bag to work in London that weighed a stone a hurt his shoulder. He realised he was overweight and figured if it hurt his shoulder to carry one stone, imagine 3 stone on the rest of him. He lost 3 stone. He is now one of the most active 65 year old people I know. He…

I just love telling people that my bad grammar is because I speak English not American, since most of them haven't been there I can get away with so much

And its not the waiters fault that the kitchen didn't clean the plates and I got sick, but I'd still prefer my plates clean thanks

I'm in PA, but your profile says AL, I'm confused.... but really that doesn't take much

Which is odd because they want to include U in everything else

Dream..... Smart! I ran my own business, the freedom is awesome, the responsibility is huge, the realization that if you don't do it, you don't get to eat.... epic. But I wouldn't have traded the experience for anything, even though I'm now back working for someone else.

IMHO the 2lbs a week that is recommended seems tough to do without some SERIOUS dedication which you will probably get distracted from with all the other things going on with getting married, 1.5 is more doable.... like I said, IMHO

bump, I think I posted this before people got up :)

I've tried to convince my wife that Bacon must be healthy because you leave all the fat in the in pan. I don't think she believes me yet :)

Nice job, and still by the beach, I'm sure that didn't hurt with the exercise? :D

Its all about statistical averages, if it works for 95% of people it will probably work for you, but it might not. The problem is, if it works for CBS ratings and not for you, that's a problem.

Try it and see, it is good, the trick is to make the center soft and the outside crispy

And you are smart enough to know that. Most of the Dr. Oz viewers aren't that smart

This is why the MickieD's Value menu is awesome, if I got a Medium fries, I'd eat a medium fries, if I get a small fries I eat the small fries. If I get a big mac I will eat a big mac, if I get a cheeseburger I'll eat the cheeseburger. Way better portion control, and saves on the wallet

LMAO No accounting for taste, BK Kids, I prefer the happy meals

A Little PC there? People who are not in the general population generally handle themselves smartly. Its the masses that need the education (usually)

Hmmm, should I worry that this bottle of Bogle Merlot suddenly looks rather empty?

and 80% of people have the common sense to moderate, but then there are 20% who think Dr. Oz is gospel. if the doc says you can't, then don't, other than that, common sense will prevail

I'm with you, well except the pasta, I don't like it, we still have a once a week trip to Mickie D's we just make sure we've built up the calories. If I wanted to eat fruits and nuts I'd become a squirrel

Both my wife and I cook, maybe he'd be more on board with some of this stuff if he cooked some too. Our deal is the person that doesn't cook has to clean up, since it is more fun to make the mess, we both volunteer more. If he wants something more "manly" Grilling the steak makes a pretty healthy protein. Kebabs are great…

Our local store had a meat sale, we bought a ton on sale and saved enough to buy a chest freezer for the basement, now, with exception of special meals or roasts we only buy meat once a quarter. Also we have a local place that will sell me an entire cow/half cow/quarter cow and his prices are very reasonable if you can…

We buy the big packs of chicken, ground beef, pork chops, etc.. When we get them home we weight them into serving size zip locks and freeze them. When we go to cook then the cups of veg are easy and we know really easily how much meat is in there.

I HATE bitty bread, I'll have white bread at our favorite diner to avoid it, I like the taste of wheat just not the bits. My wife and I are both picky eaters but different ways, I eat almost all sorts of veg and she is really picky. Solution is to mix them up, Swede or cauliflower mix well with mashed potato to halve…

You can sneak in wheat bread if you find the white wheat bread they have now, here is one, http://naturesownbread.com/products/Whitewheat/WhiteWheatBread/

I'd be more concerned about how you broke it!

Wife does exercise bike and 30DS and all the muscles are toning up, thighs getting tighter, butt tighter etc. She is just starting on the treadmill

Don't donate it, use it to clean something round the house or the car. Will be a constant reminder of how good it feels to loose weight
