Yes! They seem to come and go. I just updated the Samsung Health app on my phone today hoping this would fix it. Everything appeared in MFP and then they vanished. It always keeps the steps but not the exercises. It looks like it has something to do with using the app on the phone and the web interface?

Can you explain though why the negative calorie adjustment doesn't work from GoogleFit as that is on your list of attached apps on Android?

I've been trying out the "barefoot" shoes and strangely I have no more muscle or joint aggregation than I get from shoes so I've started running with those. I still have to work out some walking trainers but if I can run "barefoot" perhaps walking that way is good too.

I couldn't do the start of C25k so I went walking, brisk walks not slow ones, and long, 2+ hours and got my body used to the energy and muscle usage. I'm now up to week 6 of the C25k and I'm suffering muscle aches but no other issues. I started at 265lbs so a little lighter than you but not much, I was worried about that…

Short answer, Yes. A few years ago for work, we all entered a 5K, and to begin with, I could barely run for the bus. I did Couch to 5K and ran 2 5K's, I think my time was about 35 minutes and change, but I don't think I got it under 35 ever. Since then I put on weight and couldn't run so I'm trying again but yes, the first…

Right before Christmas, I was having trouble walking up stairs, and doctors kept telling me I was unfit, my average step count was about 2000 a day. So I started walking. 3000 steps, 4000, 5000 and then about 6000 steps I was in agony, I ordered myself a cane from Amazon it was so uncomfortable to walk. But I moved to…

I tried Couch to 5K and failed because I couldn't breathe. I really was that unfit. So I took long (2+ hours) brisk walks for a few weeks. This helped get my muscles started and helped with my breathing. As of my next run, I'll be in week 6 and breathing isn't my problem. Sore calves are, but they'll get used to it.

OK, so I get the eat more to compensate for the exercise, I do eat more, I was just commenting on my breakfast. I think MFP has me at 1750 Calories + my exercise and I'm usually 100 calories give or take at that and I'm not losing or gaining weight. I wonder if it might be to do with the timing of the calories rather than…

I enjoy the exercise, whats not to like about running along the canal in the morning. I'd considered the vitamins and minerals so I started take a multivitamin just to top up any of my oversights. I was thinking it might be a low sugar thing having burn't the calories?

Interesting stuff. As for "Aiming at loss per week", I've decided to not do that, all I did was change lifestyle. Cycle to work, don't take snacks, just controlled lunch, don't have change in my pocket for the vending machine, eat later in the evening so I don't snack. Lifestyle is so much easier than crazy calorie…

IMO Carriers don't count for nearly as much as a direct flight. I flew United DC to LA and that sucked, seats were small, plane was faulty and both ways hours late. So I can only offer a not United for that route. The only other long hauls I take are to Europe and I'll take British airways over any other carrier for those…

I'd also like to say I still have Full English Breakfast *Fried Bacon, Fried Egg, Fried Bread, Fried Mushrooms and baked beans) for Breakfast ever Saturday. That is proof you don't have to give up the good food.

Veggies are important, and usually have my 5 a day with dinner (well 6 if you count potato chips for lunch as a veg ) But they are also so low calorie I've given up logging them

Started at 245 aiming for 180-190 as a 6'1" guy. (Or just no tummy  )

IMHO calories are the weight loss bit, the macros are about making sure you eat healthy. Eat a rounded diet that is in your calorie limit and the weight will come off.

Dealing with lying cheating dishonest co-workers. Yup, I'm actively job hunting

I would say it is because I'm afraid of the dark, but the reality is I'm a clutz and would trip over anything in the dark :)

Really, no one has experienced boob augmentation?
-
No one? :(

Just curious, IMHO the secret to weightloss is a healthy, balanced and low calorie diet. Can juice really bring you that or do you have to supplement with pills for the missing nutrients?

Or thats 4 slices of Deli meat, on a Subway 6" sandwich there are 4. I think there are way more people out there eating a 6" turkey sub a day thinking it is healthy. Most people who drink 2 litres of coke know that is bad :)

Oh, and one other thing, be careful of the sodium listed in the food diary. I added "Generic Mashed Potatoes" It said it had 500mg of salt in in, since I added a little margarine to the potatoes and mashed, I knew I was no where near that, but if I'd have just blindly clicked on someones recipe of something from a pot in…

Totally agree about cutting down the sodium, but be aware of where it is. Sodium in Coke isn't that bad (45mg according to the can in front of me) but the sodium in my sliced turkey from the deli that I made a sandwich with is well over 100mg a slice. Just need to be aware IMHO Once you log it you will figure out how to…

My excuse is after a long day at work is, it is the last thing I want to do. (Doing it in the morning doesn't work for me, I wake up to congested to breath well enough) My compromise has been running at weekends, and while at work, unless the conversation is only going to take 10 seconds I will get up and walk to whoever I…

Don't forget that if you run your metabolism for an extra hour now, you have to stop it completely for an hour in the spring!

Sleep study from a medical facility. They will look into why it is, I had sleep apnea. My wife wasn't as bothered about the snoring as the periods of not snoring and not breathing.
-
Seriously, coming here for medical advise is silly  If weird stuff is happening, spend a relaxing afternoon in the ER or urgent care waiting room, get a tetanus shot and a blood test. better safe than sorry.

My wife is currently unemployed so we struck a deal. She does stuff around the house till noon, then the rest of the day is hers, but at the weekend if there is still stuff to do we both do it. Since she is organized it never takes her till noon and there isn't stuff left over at the weekends so she just sits on the deck…
