vegan keto sounds miserable.

Almost every new flavor released since last year contain zero sucralose. They are sweetened with stevia.

Questbars are low net carbs, if you're ok with fiberous carbs

"Researchers say the leading dietary risk factor for death and disease in American is a low intake of whole grains, below 125 grams a day." I have a hard time believing that sentence.

Not just blood sugar, blood ketones as well.

I know its your personal opinion, but I couldn't disagree with this comment more. I mean I wouldn't worry and/or stress about it, but I personally follow a ketogenic lifestyle to reap all the positive benefits of being in ketosis. If you are not in ketosis you are not keto, you are low carb.

My main question for you is are you testing your blood at all? The reason I ask cause there is no set amount of carbs for everyone, as we all metabolize glucose differently. So in theory you can answer your own question if you are testing you blood ketone levels, and seeing how you react to the amount of carbohydrates you…

I couldn' agree more with the comment. I used to crush tons of Golden Grahams as a child! o:)

I'm personally a fan of Quest Nutrition Protein Powders. They are GF, low carb & low fat so they are very versatile. They are all tasty, but Peanut Butter is my favorite.

Alcohol contains some sugar, some just contain higher amounts then others. So in theory if you are not factoring in these carbs, it may kick you out of ketosis. With that being said, If you must drink alcohol (I don't recommend it daily), stick with a small glass of wine and/or clear liquor like vodka. I know plenty of…

Why not just buy a protein powder and adjust the serving size so that fits your macro requirements?

I counter with these. Straight crack!! #WholeBox
-
Hence why I don't eat there or any other fast food chain for that matter.
-
hell yes! The Counter is amazing. Ate there a lot when I lived in LA :#
-
yeah, not a fan of soy.
-
First of all I don't eat fast food, but if I was one the go and had to choose it def wouldn't be some fake meat patty made from the roots of a soy plant. Also I'm keto and avoid wheat if/when all possible, so I wouldn't eat the bun anyways.

When someone calls and if you don't answer, they immediately text you.

WHAT????? This is bro science spouted off by people who have no idea what the human body does. While you can't always utilize all of the amino acids for protein synthesis in the body, unless you have a severe pathology, you don't piss it out. You convert select amino acids into glucose via gluconeogenesis and then store it…

Today is day 242 since I had a sip of alcohol. o:)

I wasn't insinuating that by bolding that text, sorry if it came off that way. Regardless your comment/argument is not 100% true and recent studies have debunked this myth. CONCLUSIONS: A meta-analysis of prospective epidemiologic studies showed that there is no significant evidence for concluding that dietary saturated…

Nonsense. I think you need to go Peter Attia's nine-part series on Cholesterol. A few highlighted points from Part 1: • Cholesterol is “just” another fancy organic molecule in our body, but with an interesting distinction: we eat it, we make it, we store it, and we excrete it – all in different amounts. • The pool of…

I didn't even know these existed. *drool* :o

Since I've been back on a ketogenic diet (3 weeks now) I have sort of unconsciously limited my daily plant/veggie intake, although I am eating a whole avocado a day (yes I know its really a fruit). One thing I have noticed that my gut seems to be handling the high fat consumption better then the previous times I've been…

no thanks.

6 whole eggs cooked in grass fed butter & 10oz smoked pulled pork. Then cookies & cream Questbar with 3 tbsp of peanut butter.

Keep your sodium high when fasting. I always add Real Salt to my water and it helps a ton with headaches and cramps.
