  • There are jumps... There's a move called "trips" and some jumping jack style stuff. I'm only on the third routine, so I'm not sure what else there is. But I wouldn't let that stop you. Modify it to fit your needs. Its a lot of fun!

  • I love pilates and plan on starting up again ASAP. I took some sessions with a personal trainer years ago so I learned proper technique and alignment and breathing. I would definitely recommend that. Now I just use a video or workout book (The Pilates Body by Brook Siler is great) and I can get a full mat workout at home.
  • Add me! The more friends the better!!!
  • I started PiYo and I like it too! The first couple workouts weren't that difficult, but it really kicks in with the Sweat workout. I am combining this program with spinning three times a week. So far so good!!
  • When I first started, I liked Mari Windsor videos. As I improved, I really enjoyed Brooke Siler's book "The Pilates Body". It gives great descriptions of body alignment and breathing. Sometimes it's nice to work through the mat sequence on your own. I add harder videos to switch things up when I need to.
