One day at BK doesn't mean failure. Don't stress over this. Track how many calories are in the food, keep it within your calorie goals and you will be fine.

The others are right, you can't spot reduce and losing overall body fat is how you will see a difference. I have two kids of my own so I know how you feel about the belly fat, even before pregnancy, I usually stored most fat in my stomach. I have been doing Insanity now for 5 weeks and I've noticed the biggest change in…

Yes you can lose weight while taking a protein shake. Many people use them after a workout. I use Shakeology for extra protein, probiotics, vitamins.. I have it for breakfast, it can help you stay full while staying at a calorie deficit. You can make your own as well with whatever ingredients you like for added protein, or…

Amazing you two look great!

Ripped in 30 is definitely better. I completed the 30 days and found it to be a nice short work out. I think you can find it on youtube but I bought mine for like $10 at wal mart.

Abnormal.

I experienced the same. It could be the caffeine maybe too, I am not sure. You will feel much better without it, I know I do! :)

Don't listen to the other poster, NEITHER of these are "quick fixes". They are more than just a "90 day challenge". You will probably use these videos again, much like your Jillian video! Both will delivery results. P90X is more heavy lifting so it depends on what you want.

Uh. No.

I lost weight when I was in college by doing just cardio but I was still unhappy with my body. Now that I have had children, I'm losing my extra fat by incorporating strength training and I am liking my body a LOT more now! I used to think that cardio was all I should be doing, not any more. My body fat percentage is…

I agree :)

Yup. ...keep going!! I could barely get through 30 Day Shred when I first started and I now can do Ripped in 30 Level 4 the same as the athletes in the video unmodified. I am doing Insanity currently, finished month one, and I never thought I could ever do this. Just keep at it, you WILL get better trust me.

I agree.

I felt really sore when I first started as well. Make sure you stretch really well. Don't worry it will get easier :)

I am doing my recovery this week, I completed month 1 of Insanity. How are the rest of you doing and how do you like your results so far?
-
I always drink a shake!

It is possible but you would need to take it slow and only do what you are comfortable with. Take breaks if you need to. My partner is overweight and went from not working out at all and right now he is almost done week 2! PS If you find it is too much you could always start with something like 10 min trainer but you may…

I have Insanity and I love it so far. Personally I am not one to go to a gym, I'd rather work out at home. I find their DVDs more effective than when I was using my treadmill for the same amount of time 6 days a week. $11 a DVD isn't overpriced to me and it was worth it. I've had great results after 1 month of Insanity.…

A Canadian who hates beer and hockey? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! lol
-
Insanity doesn't require any equipment and it is really effective.

I have only ever found success in working out at my own home. I went to a gym a couple of times and did not enjoy a second of it. Right now I am in the middle of completing Insanity, I just finished month 1. I have support from others who are currently doing it too which helps!
-
Insanity is tough. I just completed Month 1 and currently doing my recovery week!

I eat an extra protein as well.. work out extra hard! Its NOT easy though. In reality I just wanna curl in bed eating cheese and crackers all day lol

170s

I did 30DS, then Ripped in 30 but neither gave even close to the results Ive got so far from 4 weeks of Insanity. Edit I can give you a discount if youre interested. It seems pricy but in my experience its totally worth it so far

My first baby went to bed that late too! Once I had my second, I had my youngest going to bed earlier to match the bedtime of my younger one. lol

I have two children, a 3 year old and a 10 month old. I feel you. I work full time and I exercise an hour a day, 6 days a week, I find the time by doing it either before they wake up in the AM or when they are in bed. Feel free to add me if you need some motivation.

I noticed it first on my face and thighs.

Why can't he have an opinion? I don't think he is being a jerk, he has a very valid point. Yes to be fair, some women balloon up before and/or after birth because of water retention and swelling, but that doesn't make you obese. Some pregnant women are full of excuses and eat their faces off while justifying "eating for…

Beer is awesome....except American beer.
