Awesome book. Read the next one too. "World without End" I am listening to Ken Follets "Fall of the Giants" it is taking me awhile, since I found MFP. I need music to work out to. The book just isn't working.

great advice... Your local library should have internet. You can write down your food the old fashion way and then log it in a couple of times a week. Like one other person said, there is open internet all over the place. (if you have an ipod or phone that can use wifi) Best of luck and don't stop.

People in Colorado have their work cut out for them to beat or even meet the BMI%

Good advice! I would use the picture of further motivation. Good work loosing the 20 lbs. I'm not there yet, but I know it takes hard work!

I would worry it would mildew in a bag.... Get more clothes. Walmart and Academy have affordable dri fit type garments. They don't have to be name brand. We bought shorts for $7.99 for my husband.

It is a pretty dress, but you need a thin strapped silver shoe. My daughter bought some pretty silver strappy shoes with beading on them. What is a Hen party? Here in Alabama, it would be a bunch of us getting together with all kinds of snack foods, maybe a movie if we could stop yapping.. and just having a good time…

First off, I noticed most days you are not netting the very minimum of 1200 calories. You should watch your sodium intake. You are new and your food choices will change as you go. Your body will want healthier choices the more you have them. Add more fruits and vegetables. Baby steps, and don't give up all your old…

My 30 year old son has lost nearly 40 lbs in three months (introduced me to MFP) My 29 year old son is happily married and loves his job. My 20 year old son is finishing up his last year of college. My 18 year old son is starting his freshman year with an academic scholarship and will be playing baseball on the team in…

I think you have something here...

Exactly what I was thinking, anything is an improvement from doing absolutely nothing.

"Fiber Number Two" Hilarious! I found a blog when I was trying to decide if the Fiber One Bars were healthy. I was rolling on the floor laughing at that guy. His wife gave him one and they were so good he ate two. He was stuck at school taking an exam and couldn't leave. You should go read it, if you can find it.

Maybe you need a more filling snack towards the end of your work day. Possibly some high protein yogurt. I like the laughing cow wedges and some low calorie crackers. I don't care for cottage cheese but I imagine it is filling and satisfying if you like it.

The ones with the multi grains and seeds. They sometimes would get stuck in my teeth. :)

I don't eat much wheat bread anymore. I use to buy the Arnold's Brand and Sara Lee whatever was on sale. It is quite pricey when you are feeding a family or 5 and then drop ins. Does this make you feel better? :)

You are beautiful! Congratulations on such a great loss in such a short time. Wishes for continued success on your last goal.

Take them in, if you can or go to Target or WM and get 2 pairs on their inexpensive pants to get you through until the next drop in weight. Good NSV though!

Too funny! I love the salad, that made it nutricious.

I take One A Day Women's Forumla, Magnesium3 times a week, D (prescribed) once a week, B12 three times a week, when I don't get injections (always low on b12) I just started taking Osteo Biflex (I don't know if you would consider that a vitamin) My sister keeps pushing me to take fish oil... just can't get around the taste…

Love your post and yes I think her lightening bolt has already struck!

Thanks, I am going to investigate. I think this will be something both my husband and I can do.

bump, my husband will enjoy this. I haven't tried the almond butter yet, must do.

I would have loved that concert! Eagles are my all time favorite.

Fun thread... I believe my first concert was Robert Palmer and Gary Wright and my last concert was about 2 months ago. B.B. King.
