How long can you sustain "zero" net calories?
How long can a body sustain that? What is it doing to their bodies? Does it make a difference if one has more to loose? I have about 25 more to go and it seems my body slows down if I dip below 1200 net?

TDEE, BMR, Exercise calories,is there a definitive answer?
I plugged in my weight, height, gender and age into one of those calculators. I walk 3.5 to 4 miles about 5 times a week. I will use the elliptical for 30 to 40 minutes on the days I can't walk outdoors. I also started the 30 Day Shred. (day 6) Am I suppose to eat 500 below my TDEE to loose 1 pound a week. HRM question
I've had my HRM Polar FT4 for 2 weeks. The first time I walked 5.2 miles I burned 684 calories, the second time, same distance shaved a few minutes (only thing different was I didn't go up the hill, I reversed the route) I burned about 70 less calories. I understand that, but today we increased the hills with a new route,…

5 weeks tomorrow and things I have noticed...
I noticed today, that I have a much quicker pace when I walk in general. I noticed that I sit up straighter and naturally am engaging my core muscles. I learned that my body is quickly picking up stamina when I walk and use the elliptical. I am liking these new feelings. I can't wait to see what the next few months will…

Yeah, you "could" do it on your own...
I have only been using MFP since June. I started out on my own other than my son who introduced me to the app. I did fine, but I get so much more motivation from the friendships. It gives me personal competitiveness. I don't want to let my friends down, so to speak. It is very uplifting to receive encouragement along the…

What day of the week does MFP start over?
I was just wondering if MFP starts on Monday or the day I joined? I have set exercise goals and was curios. Sorry if it is a silly question. Thanks

Discrepancy in my pedometer and actual distance.
Tonight my husband and I decided to extend our walk and speed. He has a app on his iphone and I have a new Ormon HJ-720ITC pedometer. We knew we had walked further than our regular 1.5 miles. My pedometer showed 1.7 miles walked and his app showed 2.5 miles. We got in the car and measured the route. It showed 2.1 miles.…
