I do try to get enough sleep, but I have a child with diabetes and if blood sugars are high/low I have to get up. This puts a slight damper on good sleep. Thanks for the suggestion though!!

It's called colitis. Running can cause it to happen. I don't run far enough any longer, to the point of blood/vomit, it starts with diarrhea and I need a break quickly.

I would actually rather run, but since the half marathon, I can't seem to run without needing a restroom rather quickly most runs. A little TMI, and for those that get grossed out easily, please refrain from continuing to read. During the half marathon there was only one port-a-potty set up, during the race, at mile 7. I…

I had the Fitbit Flex and loved it and it's water proof. I just got the Fitbit Surge and love it so far, but it's only water resistant.

I do this all the time. I'm so upset with myself that I lost it all and then let myself gain it back!
-
Good luck! I need to get back to it also. I can't seem to get motivated.

Mine was surgery. I had lost 50 pounds and was about 10 pounds from my goal weight. I had a hysterectomy and gained back 40 pounds. I just didn't have the energy for the intense workouts anymore and started eating bad again. I've finally started back up with less intense workouts, although still no energy and my doc can't…

That's me. I lost 50 with hard work and logging. Then I had a surgery and I couldn't find the energy to workout as much and went back to my old eating habits. I've gained 40 back. I've started again a couple of weeks ago so I'm hopefully heading in the right direction again. Good luck all!

I LOVE this video! I'm sitting here at my desk watching it over and over cracking up. I hate treadmills and want to run outside! Thanks for sharing!

I sent you a request. I'm also a busy mom and don't always make the right food choices!! Isn't that what busy moms do?!?

I needed to have my gall bladder removed after I lost 50 pounds. I lost it slowly over a year and a half and still had issues. Two of my friends are the same way. They needed theirs removed after a weight loss. Odd but it seems to happen a lot. Obviously there are other reasons gall bladders need removed as well but weight…

Great job! I'll be running my first on November 10th in Puerto Rico. I'm not near ready, due to a recent surgery so I'm a little nervous because of that. Keep running!

How do you add using the url or user name? I only get a choice of email address or facebook. Do I need to change a setting?

I have a question for all you missing gallbladderers too. I found out yesterday that I wil have mine removed next week as they found multiple gallstones and it looked like one had already passed as the duct was open. I have an appointment with the surgeon Tuesday. I was told until then eat low-fat foods and clear liquids.…

We have a project manager at work that says many of these phrases constantly: "it is what it is" "at the end of the day" "ya know" "right?!" "to your point" I also really can't stand: "ain't/ain't it" "Warsh" for wash "Hers" for she (Hers going to be late.) Did I mention ain't/ain't it? "anyhoo"

Well Travis, first I'm going to tell you it's awesome that you realize the problem and are going to try and get healthy. I want to tell you about my husband's sister. She was 20-years-old and played basketball in college. She worked hard every day at basketball. Unfortunately, she was bulimic and died of heart issues in…

Wow! Your story really hits home and inspires me to keep going. I have four kids as well and I work full-time. In January I had a heart attack. I didn't have high blood pressure or bad cholesterol but had a heart attack. I was about 195 lb at that time. While I was obviously overweight and in the obese category my doc was…
