I tend to find I need the extra calories the following day so I don't stress about it. I think looking at your intake over a week is a more realistic and healthier method.

sounds great but can you clarify for us brits what buffalo sauce is?

Last night I had a very yummy and filling low cal meal. Baked sweet potato (you could substitute white potato for the little 'un), a flattened pork fillet (sizzle steaks from morrisons) marinaded in bbq sauce and mustard with corn on the cob and peas. Have a look through my diary as there are quite a few meals there coming…

Here is my Parsons Jack Russell, Daisy. We got her from a rescue centre after she had been mistreated, she is so sweet and well behaved. IMG_20120505_094745 by Woodland Gifts, on Flickr shot_1326711581956 by Woodland Gifts, on Flickr shot_1326711572581 by Woodland Gifts, on Flickr

Hi, I have been on here for a while and could do with a few more pals too!

I log daily and my diary is open, I have some bad days but hopefully it balances itself out. I am definitely taking this seriously! This is the last stand for me, I do not plan on coming back here in the future and am hoping that the scale will continue to go in the right direction!

Taken from the Nerd Fitness website: Work out in a fasted state - Although advanced techniques to get to super low body fat percentages are beyond the scope of this article, here’s another tactic if you want to drop the last few percentage points: strength training in a fasted state first thing in the morning, and don’t…

Yep, this is my last time on the yo-yo treadmill too, much more determined this time. Good luck! Feel free to add me.

Hahaha! Spoiler alert!

I don't have the time or the stamina to do that much cardio and from what I have read recently, it could be doing more harm than good as you can be burning muscle as well as fat. I am doing the beginner body weight work out from Nerd Fitness…

bump, want to keep an eye on this to resolve my consistently soggy cous cous making!

I thought I was the only one who moved scales around to find some place that my body will defy gravity! Ha ha!! Glad to hear I am not alone!

Have you tried local honey? You need to take it early on and regularly but I have heard good things about it. You do need to make sure it is local to you though, so check out your nearest farm shop / health shop / handy person down the road covered in bees!

Morrisons do their own version of snack-a-jacks, caramel rice cakes (the large type) and they are very tasty. Only 40 calories each, they taste a bit like betta bars (anyone remember them???) Or if you are after a chocolate hit, aldi do a pack of mini chocolate bars, 85% cocoa so very rich and intense. A small bar is 125…

I do try to drink at least my 8 glasses but some-days I slip, just checked my sodium and it seems to be OK but I will keep an eye on the salt I am adding to our home cooked meals. Another good tip! Thanks.

Just changed it to track sugar and I have gone quite a bit over. The fruit is a new thing for me, I have been more of a veggie girl so I will keep an eye on it, thanks!

It is more a case that I have started a regime! I never had one before, I am quite generally active and busy but have not fitted in any structured exercise so that maybe so, I have noticed a few muscles waking up!

I am the same height and am aiming for 160lbs which is the upper end of the scale for my build (I have a large frame and broad shoulders) Like the others I am going to get there and then see how I feel. 40lbs seems to be a number that I feel I can achieve so I am just focussing on that for now. Trying to do at least 30…

I was just about to suggest the brushing teeth thing too, I do this to stop my late night munchies. Also if I find myself on the sofa watching trash TV I will take myself off to bed with a good book and a herbal tea instead.
