I will reply to the title. Regular cardio along with a healthy diet will still give you a light tone up effect on the body. Fat is just stored energy so burning enough of it will show off your muscles, not making you ripped just toned nicely. :)

Everybody strives to better themselves when we do something that's not particularly productive we often do it because we find it pleasing at the time. However when done often it can cause someone to feel lack of self respect when they realise there life is not as productive as they wish. :)

Breakfast 400 cal lunch 400 cal and dinner 500 cal, snacks 300 cal there you go do that and if you workout add 200 extra calories to your snacks :)
