This has been a very low mileage month for me due to a foot injury. I'm at 37.57 for the month. YTD total on the ticker.

Starting training for my first full marathon this month, I will run the Portland Marathon on October 5th. Going with Hal Higdon's Novice 2 training plan, 18 weeks of training. So my goal for May is 79 miles, which is the first 4 weeks of the training plan.

Make a "pudding" that is similar to tapioca using 1.5 cups of whatever milk you like, 1/3 cup of chia seeds, and a sweetener (my favorite is vanilla stevia, takes about 30 drops). I don't use runtastic, but I do use MapMyRun, and I know that the calorie burn is way over estimated. I also use an HRM, so I get an accurate calorie burn. For example, I ran 4 miles today at a 13:00 pace. MMR says I burned 781 calories, but my HRM says I burned 508. Most likely in your situation I would either average the…
