I track macros and attempt to keep 50/30/20 protein, carbs, fat. According to the nutritionist I work with 1g of protein per lb (it's a lot to stay under calorie goal of 1400) is ideal to build muscle when training HIIT and weights. It works for torching body fat at least in my case

It will pass... if you are a carb addict (like me), your body is adjusting. Best thing for me was more water and and sleep! Hang in there! It's not a fad, it's a lifestyle.
